I failed my solo flawless SOTW on the final boss but since i got so far I decided to recruit some help to at least get some loot out of it. And I’m happy to say that I helped a random guardian acquire the Hierarchy of Needs :)
(Kind of jealous though)

I got the bow on my very first run. I’m glad that happened too, because I never want to run that dungeon ever again.

I thought a post about a spire and happy ending was going to have a different punch line.

4 RepliesI click on anything that says happy ending really fast

That was a little anticlimactic.

4 RepliesEdited by Ray: 1/27/2023 4:43:05 PMSo you couldn’t just finish the boss yourself for loot? Like I get the story and kudos to you for helping others but if you were going to finish the boss regardless then why not just continue solo? You would’ve got your solo completion
-
Awww. Thank you for turning your misfortune into a kind story.
-
I’m pleasantly surprised that you didn’t somehow spin it into Bungie hating you or something.

Bro solo spire sucks man 😔

GG guardian! Way to go turning a loss into a win! What character were you doing it on? I struggled for a long time on my Titan then I levelled up my Warlock and maxed out the resilience and got it fairly quickly. I found the survivability to be equal to my Titan but the DPS in the well to be better so I didn’t have to do as many damage phases.

You sound like a sherpa....If you aren't you need to be. If its patience you lack, that comes with time and many many attempts.

I had two chill guys join my Lfg post when I wanted to try out a new dps strat (summary far too much work for about equal damage) and I got the exotic! Props to those guys for being chill

Well played, Guardian. I like the new dungeon, got 40+ solo flawless clears up already and still enjoying it. If anyone needs help with it, I'm usually around and don't mind helping at all. It's really pretty easy once you know what's happening.
-
Shout out to the people that helped me on my first clear two days ago. I felt kind of bad when the bow dropped for me. They were happy for me but I could hear the envy haha. I know that was really lucky for me
-
Good for you. No seriously, congratulations.
-
There's not enough positive stories on here so this was nice to read! It's also nice to see someone just accept it and not come here to rage rant!
-
I am not as great as you but on s normal run, I got disconnected AFTER killing the boss. Decided to share the CP with as many as I could then completed it with random from lfg and carried one with us for their first completion!
-
Well played dude. I used to run grasp solo all the way to the boss then share the checkpoint on lfg so dudes could get Eyesluna.

Did he have a drop of health left? I’ve died THREE times where my super would have killed him. It’s such a tedious dungeon not super motivated to try more than once a week.

2 RepliesThat was good of you, glad you don’t take the game too seriously like some. I have trouble asking random people to help me with stuff so I haven’t done most of the endgame activities. But last week a guy posted that he would carry someone in Spire for their first time. I literally just cleared adds and helped with DPS as best I could. They didn’t even use mics. I thought it was cool of them to help a random for no apparent reason.
