Once again we have an update that has issues and as a result the game is shut down because of it. A timeline has been set for an update and ready or not that update is released to meet that timeline. This continual pattern is what Destiny has become. I cannot believe there isn’t some algorithm that can run the updates before release to make sure that they are clean of issues . Is it possible that these updates aren’t current and were built into the game years ago and had been set to become active at a designated time ? Then is it possible that they aren’t tested prior to their release because of to much faith in the system? Someone needs to take responsibility and own these repeated failures. Then that person needs to take the necessary action to change this pattern whether it be a shake up in employees or delaying release of the updates until they know they will run as they were planned . As it stands they come across as a company with people -blam!- don’t know what they are doing either by lack of experience or worse, they just don’t care. Either way it’s inexcusable.
