I am having issues with a new PC I built late last year, specs and pastebin below.
Intel Core i9 13900K CPU
ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero Motherboard (Bios 0813 latest)
G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 DDR5 EXPO
ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC 24GB
Kingston KC3000 M.2 NVMe Gen4 SSD 2TB
Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 Gold 1200W PCIe 5.0 Power Supply
https://pastebin.com/jcyYXNkE
I have tried windows 10 and 11 and the crash persists on both operating systems. It normally crashes after a long play session. Destiny 2 is the only game I play at the moment so having it crash in the middle of a trials match or when trying to solo a mission / dungeon really sucks.
I have tried XMP off and on the bios and it crashes with both settings, system passes memtest without detecting any errors. If have tried with HAGS and REBAR support off and the crash persists.
I have tried enabling DEBUG mode in the nvidia drivers and the game still crashes after a long session.
Please help!!

Having those same issues since upgrading to 4090. Anyone find any solutions?

I give up for now, I guess I just have to accept the destiny 2 will crash during a long play session. Going to post on the nivida forums.

This exact same issue I have with 2 GPUs, with 3080 and with new 4070 Ti, exact same issue freeze after about 2 to 4 hours playing, is random but always same freeze and crash. And I have in windows event viewer this nvlddmkm id 0, /device /video3 gpuid: 100 than nvlddmkm has stopped working and recovered. Always those errors but only happens in Destiny 2, I had playing for about 9 hours others games and everything working smooth.

Edited by Soupladel: 1/24/2023 6:59:51 PMif you find a stable version let us know here, i am having similar issues as are others and i have the exact same card. this problem occured before and i had to use an earlier version of the drivers but can't go back to that same version because of the 4090. Edit: Sorry, i didn't realise it was you that posted to my own thread bout D2 crashing and nvidia drivers

4 RepliesEdited by Blackheart6004: 1/24/2023 4:06:47 AMAre you using Game Ready Driver 528.02? I've read it's causing tons of issues right now like crashes, BSoD and whatnot. Try reverting back to a previous version of the driver and see if it fixes the problem.
