Ok, first things first, love this game but you should not be able to get your guardian stuck on just a few small rocks or on a blade of grass. I lost count of how many times I was just running along then all of a sudden just come to a dead stop, just to look down and see a small rock at the bottom of my guardian's feet. It is so infuriating to just get stuck on such a small thing. Now, the fall damage, on the other hand, is also just as annoying, You go down a jump, hit the brakes, and keep hitting the brakes thinking your gonna land just fine, then bam you hit the ground, and your dead for no reason at all. Then you get up and do a small jump just to get over something and then you land and lose half your health for some reason. Ok i'm done ranting now, still a wonderful game and enjoying the content. Thanks for everything.

You have to jump and fly everywhere to get anything done smoothly.
-
How about when you get bumped up half a cm and you dodge turns to a smoke dive

3 RepliesEdited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 1/23/2023 6:50:50 PMGuardian drops down 4 feet, hits pebble, dies. Guardian encounters space overlord and destroys them in an epic battle. Pebbles are the true space overlords.

1 ReplyEdited by Dopamine: 1/23/2023 7:08:02 PMinsight terminus boss arena is so GD annoying, it has some of the most uneven terrain and has all sorts of hard edge geometry preventing you from being able to smoothly move around. you're unable to leave the plates that you have to stand on unless you jump which is very irritating.

1 ReplyThe fall drop is a joke. I remember once (maybe a year back) I was doing master or legend lost sector on the moon. The one with loads of ogres and wizards and crystals to progress. I killed every last insect on the final crystal and survived everything. Then I drop down a 2 feet ledge and pick a special ammo brick, but no... killed by misadventure... it wasn't even a jump or chasm, and I was at full health and full shield with 90 resilience and 80 recovery, but none of that matter. I died like an ant under a boot. Joke of mechanics.

It’s the insane level of inconsistency that’s infuriating to me.
-
Guardians have no knees, it's the only explanation. A single leg bone from @nus to ankle. Can't bend knee to step up 2 inches, Can't bend knee to absorb minor fall damage.
-
2 RepliesI was playing Crucible Rusted Lands yesterday and legit got stuck in a tree only to be shot in the butt like a fat Partridge ready for stuffing.

I’ve said this for YEARS

2 RepliesThis was literally happening to me on the current grandmaster nightfall. My fireteam wasted 4 revives because of it
-
Honestly I agree with the small assets bringing you to a complete stop it's stupid and is especially annoying in crucible and honestly fall damage is fine for warlocks and hunters but titans need with their jumps to lose more momentum because I've lost count how many times I'll jump down a long hole and halfway down activate my jump on my titan to still be going a hundred miles an hour and still get killed.

This post was made by a wave frame grenade launcher

Dude, I cant even count how many times especially on the Grandmaster NF Insight Terminus I got stuck on a rock or pebble. It was infuriating to say the least. Here were are God killing machines but, look out for that pebble on the ground. STUCK! STUCK! STUCK!
-
Hugging a wall and trying to back up only for a 1mm block stops you dead.
-
1 ReplyThe boss area in the nightfall this week really highlights the stupid clipping errors with your characters feet constantly getting stuck on little edges of the ground surface.....
-
All I can picture in my head as I read this is a guardian with Ronald McDonald clown feet running around.

Edited by BrandishedChaos: 1/23/2023 1:17:07 PMAnyone remember the modifier from year 1 that would get you killed from walking a down a step wrong? This is like that annoyance. I hated that modifier in nightfalls.

1 ReplyOmg please help me, im stuck! Which movie was it again? 🤔
-
Let's add a physic of tripping and falling on your face. It would be hilarious to watch shotgun apes trying to rush you and getting wrecked
-
1 ReplyI'm not stuck. A you problem.
-
Also we would not bounce off of rock walls, etc, like a giant bouncy ball, if realistic physics were used lol
-
Or the waveframe launcher's wave hitting a tiny bupm on the floor and completely disappearing.
-
................and whilst we are it one thing that bugged me from D1 is invisible walls! Of course I understand that open world games have to have boundaries however when trying to get to the top of some environments to suddenly get *Yoinked* on a visible wall is immersion shattering.
-
Part of it is poor map design too, I've encountered several places with in game objects thatre placed out from walls or create corners for players to get stuck in infinite fall loops for Kill traps where you die, respawn, die and repeat, need to go too, shouldn't have to leave an activity to fix that

1 ReplyIt was infuriating in the OG Destiny…the fact that it’s ten times worse in D2, is beyond ludicrous
