Hey Guardians, We've just created a new account here to enable us to post here on the forums more. We will be talking about this Destiny 2 Team account and others on 3rd party platforms in the TWAB shortly. For our inaugural post we wanted to create a thread to gather up some of your top priorities for changes you want to see in the game. Comment below with your feedback.   • I know you already did this in the past but can we have another buff for primaries Because most of the time when i use one in harder content (GM/Master raid) I remember why people prefer double special and also why abilities are "meta"

  • Hey I'm wondering if you really are going to bring back all the past content of destiny 2 and if it is going to have all the seasons with it cause that would be awesome to play since I only started when beyond light came out, it would complete the whole story for all new players and what it was like during the red war. I would like to experience it cause your is one of a kind when it comes to gun play and that's what makes me come back to this game.

    Improve end-game mat economy and exotic availability. In regards to end-game mats, Exotic Ciphers and Ascendant Alloys are barren in terms of availability. Ascendant alloy has no reliable chase for them unlike exotic engrams, where it's clear you do X activity Y amount of times and you get an exotic engram. This doesn't look like a complex solution, attaching additional completions to core activities can be a straightforward solve until a more nuanced system can be implemented. Exotic Ciphers on the other hand, DO have a consistent path to them through Xurs Xenology, but the objective is far too time intensive for your average player unless they buy into the clan environment, which not everyone wants to do. Maybe to improve both materials sources, have a time gated objective that becomes fully available on the weekend like Iron banner. Thinking Tuesday (3/3 completions=exotic), then Friday (12/12 completions=Ascendant Alloy OR Exotic Cipher). Exotic availability. In acquiring new exotics current sources are still limited, which is confusing, but seems like the dev team has a particular reasoning for this limitation. Gaining exotics in general is better for the newer player with the introduction of ritual activity exotic engram sources and focusing, but for new lights wanting the most recent exotics the light requirement and build crafting knowledge required to perform lost sector runs that don't feel like a slog are far too high. The Vex Incursion zone is inconsistent in availability, so it's also a non-source for new lights in Destiny. I can't in good conscious make a recommendation for potential sources of new exotics, because in all likelihood Bungie has an objective in mind in keeping new exotics in their limited drop sources, so making a suggestion without additional context seems like a moot point. Focusing costs are too high for specific exotics, at least in regards to the Exotic Cipher amount. Either reduce the cost for the material, or improve the availability of it. Potential solution for availability could be gaining a resource specific to dismantling exotics, and it's used exclusively to trade in for Exotic Ciphers. Risk of introducing this is collections, pulling an exotic and dismantling it over and over. However, seeing as Deepsight Harmonizers has rules that can track the path of the weapon acquisition and bar you from using it on the gun, it *seems* like there is infrastructure being used that could prevent this from happening. Lastly, an issue that can arise from the introduction of any of these above suggestions is clutter. Players who are deep in the end game loop are nearly guaranteed to have an excess of end-game mats and nothing to do with them. Commonly, I'm certain Ascendant Shards and Enhancement prisms are the most often maxed out end-game mat. Potential solution could be to have material conversions like 3 Ascendant Shard = 1 Exotic Cipher or 1 Ascendant Alloy = 2 Ascendant Shards. I know we recently got done simplifying the economy of items in Destiny, but unless Bungie is willing to embrace more straightforward solutions (X activity = Y endgame material, no nightfall RNG), we're destined to return to this cycle of clutter again and again.

  • Bombadiers when used with Void, still do not apply Suppression to any targets. Affected targets continue to fire weapons, and Guardians remain in Super even after being hit. The bomb is not reading as a void attack either, perhaps that is affecting something?

    There is a issue with the Class item mods such as Empowered Finish not being able to be replaced with other mods "Of the same type" like say Bulwark Finisher. You must first remove the the former mod, then replace it manually. Sadly this is interfering with Loadouts, as the game is unable to replace these mod when you chose a loadout with different mods. Please remove the code of not being able to equip similar mods and simply add one that states: "If two mods of the same type are equipped at the same time, then both mods are inactive." That way we can swap full Loadouts without any hiccups. (I originally thought it may have something to do with all the slots being full but no, that does not mater.) Please and thank you.

  • Please also allow us to re-buy the curative Masterworked Version of the Zephyr if it was earned. It was basically the same type of reward as the Braytech Werewolf.

  • Update and BUFF Dunemarchers to use the same attack rules as Necrotic Grips: Allow powered Melee's to disperse charges; allow Glaive Melees to carry and disperse the charge and give them the ability to apply Jolt to all targets hit so we get a little more bang for our buck considering we have to run in order to turn them on. SHORTEN SPRINT DISTANCE! It is insane to have so many useful weapons and exotics on other classes for this one to be all but canceled. Please fix this. As it stands now, Dunemarchers are absolutely useless. I feel like I wasted money On the Ornaments, because I bought them at a time where they actually worked.... They were never the most powerful, but they had purpose and were fun.

    Legendary medium blade weapons for the Special slot. Solar, Arc, and Void; Mechetes, Daggers, and even Cleavers. Typically weaker than a sword but much faster. All of them should have a unique combo move set. The shield element would be the same as a sword but instead of a single attack for a "power move" they each can launch an over shielded flurry combo ending in a large hit that staggers your victim causing a scripted kneel, fall, or a kick of some sort that would launch your character out of Melee attack range. The Wave blade versions would launch a set of 4 smaller energy waves that disintegrate enemies on finial blows. Like swords, they would be 3rd person attack tools. While I would like Daggers could be dual wields; I would not be opposed to a few versions of the Machete or Cleaver to equip a sidearm or even Hand Cannon as an alternate fire mode.

    A Vesper Of Radius Ornament that removes the Quarter circle plates from the shoulders and combines all 4 into a separated floating disk at the small of the wearer's back, and two smaller separated disks to the left and right rearmost hips, (or better still, thighs,) but otherwise leaving the Vespers standard armor layout and color panels unchanged. By the way, when you use some animations (Like *Warlock only* Arc Charge) while having a large weapon showing, the tail of the coat crawls up a Guardians rear. Please fix that. Hahaha! It is funny.... But it is horrible, and kills the mood of a serious moment.

  • Anarchy Catalyst. I was thinking about how to create this in a way that wouldn’t be broken but people would like and may start to use the weapon again. It would go as follows: Obtained from a fallen strike. 500 kill requirement as always. The cataylst could ramp up damage as the grenades ticked on a target. Perhaps up to 20% more and then for the final 5 ticks it ticks at this 20% extra damage. Then when the grenades blow up have them jolt the target. If this could be added it would be greatly appreciated, anarchy used to be very strong but hasn’t seen much attention since then.

  • Please fix the Build Statistics calculator. You used to be able to go under a particular armor item in the mail or in your vault and it would inject the piece's stats as if you had equipped the piece to your set. That was EXTREMELY helpful, and I dearly miss it. It is murder to have to clear a space in your inventory and then equip the part, just to find out it would not work, for every single piece of armor you find. Also could you include Sparrows, Ghosts, and Emblems to the load-out options? Please? While it is amazing that it even saves COLORS and ORNAMENTS, With just those 3 additions, it would be perfect. Best update ever, in spite of losing my Warmind Cells. I still think they have a place in the game, though.

    Final Warning Catalyst Traits: Increased target lock range Fully charged rounds pass through targets slow then explode. Hits increase Charge Time and Release Time. (It seems to hold the charge a little while even after it is fully charged.) (Optional) Kills with other weapons help fill and overflow the Magazine by an extra 50% so an max of 30 rounds. [b]Fully Explained:[/b] Upon contact, they feed on your enemies spiritual energy to grow in size, slow, begin chasing the target and those near by for 3.5 seconds, increasing damage with each enemy it touches, after which, they explode releasing Unraveled Rounds. The number increases with the size that the round can grow by making contact with enemies. Any damage from this weapon lowers the charge time. I mean the gun is fun to play with, but it is waaaaaaaaaaay too slow to be as weak as it is. Everyone beats me to the kill when I charge it by the time I have even released the second burst, and the first burst did not kill anything. Against powerful enemies and Bosses, it tickles at best. It is actually dangerous to use in some cases, because heavier enemies tend to panic when encountering grenade-like projectiles, and start running around which makes for a nightmare if you are trying to predict when and where they will shoot. It keeps things interesting, but it often feels like I just need to swap weapons to get the job done right.

  • Please remove the hitbox during the Arc Warlock Blink Melee or give it an overs-hield during the move.... In stages it seems to do nothing but act like a slide. It does nothing to evade attacks or even break computer locks. Things like Wyvern, Captains and even Tourchhammer Minotaurs still can target your Guardian and kill them mid strike.... It may as well not even be classified as a "Blink" or have the animation if you can simply sit there and shoot at air and still get hits in. It also needs another animation aside from terrible ripoff of Ryu's Dragon Punch... Minus the cool spin.... Perhaps give us the option to select a reappearance pose for money.... Anything but: "Shoddyuken!" PLEASE! At least the Hunter's Arc Uppercut launches them into the air and away from danger.

  • Can you make the Catalysts in non-craftable exotics removable like a Mod? Specifically Quicksilver Storm. As you know, starts off as Kinetic but turns Strand when you apply one. I am a user of Chromatic Fire and when I do apply the Catalyst, Storm will no longer work with it. I rather like the weapon as is right now, so unless you all are going to allow Stand and Stasis to trigger Chromatic Fire's explosive tendencies, (Which I would LOVE YOU FOR) it would be nice if the Catalyst were removable so I could save it in my load-out without the Catalyst for this particular setup and with the Catalyst for my other planned set. This way I am not running around with 2 Quicksilver Storms in my inventory. I need every single slot available. Pretty please.

    We now need a cheap 1 slot Helmet Mod (Or Arm Mod, something else aside from Fastball to choose from) that attracts Orbs of power to the player. I would like to say, you all should have made these mods and launched them as additions to the old mods, giving us the option to use them all. It would have added to the versatility of our Guardian/s and would have given us multiple paths to the same destination leaving us to decipher which gave the greatest benefit and added to the replay value.

    Along with making a bigger deal about it, maybe Celebrate Black History Month at the BEGINNING of the month of February in stead of the final week of it. It gave me a kind of an: "Oh yeah, here ya go." feeling. Valentines day can easily take place the week after. It literally heads the second week dated on the 14th. I mean Black History Month is in fact a month, so if you are going to shave it down to a week, at least give it top billing out of respect. I mean I would go as far a popping in black contribution facts within the gaming industry here at the sight for the month. And lastly, I want an actual COOL looking Black Lives Matter Emblem. A black fist....? Come on... Give me a Beautiful Black Dragon, An Alicorn, a Winged Panther if you want to be reasonably lazy about it.... Something that shows it took more that 3 minutes worth of thought to create. Considering a lot of the game is about overcoming prejudice, a little more creativity in the real life version of it is not too much to ask.

    Sure, Can we get some different content? DLC’s bump hard, but the stuff that’s supposed to keep us around in the dead periods (strikes, team deathmatch-I mean crucible, gambit) hasn’t really every been replayable. Sure you can play it again, but I mean…talk about boring. How bout some PvEvP zones, battle royale, survival mode (not the existing crucible mode, I’m talking escape from tarkov style game mode), new objective PvP modes, player housing, maybe an auction house, idk how about some fresh ideas instead of the same regurgitated and reskinned formula you use for every content release.

    Oh and I almost forgot, please remove the front belt strap and front tuft of fur for the Sixth Coyote Ornament.... The hanging belt piece looks like a -blam!- and the front fur reminds me of horribly kept bush. Neither are ideal for my Female Guardian.

      How many ways can you punch an alien ? I dont know the answer, but I feel like were all going to find out. Bungie you got the talent to create something a bit more than strand claws. I'm sure it's better than people realize, and your going to absolutely nail the sound effects that does make an impact on how a power feels. Obviously there is some pushback, here's what I think problem is, and what I believe will help. A "total" melee fantasy, doesn't leave a lot of room for creativity when your always trying to control power creep & nobody wants a weak punch. The artist are mentally restrained before they even start imagining what the character can do. How many ways can you interpret a hunter as a warrior, or warlock as a wizard? Their fantasies are more restrained by the games engine then the fantasy itself. Titan hits a immediate creative stop when you say let's make 1 character out of 3 stronger then the rest. Isnt that what a tank or melee fantasy is about ? That's why your nerfing resilience right now, nerfing bubble, nerfed sunspots, Lorely, Behemoth, and every melee exotic or interaction titans can come up with. How much extra money does that cost to go back and re-work all those developments? The name "Titan" has room for interpretation, but you need to sit down have a talk, sort out what works in the Destiny power economy, and has room to grow. You have free creative licence to write history and decide what a Titan is, surely you can have more fun with it, right? The world is your canvas and Titans have a jumbo box of crayons waiting for you.

    • Allow Vendors to sell all related weapons previously carried the way you do with the new seasonal Vendors so we can trade in the respective engrams in order to purchase a shot at the perfect trait version of said weapon. I have been waiting for ages to try my luck at getting a perfect Sola's Scar but Saint-14's options have not changed in like 4 seasons. They should carry them all, with the requirement that you have to find them in order to buy them. That requirement and the fact that you must own the respective weapon set's seasonal pass is enough, we do not need the vendors locking out past weapons.
