If I have to equip an aspect to make an exotic function as normal is that exotic worth using? Could someone please explain this to me, am I doing something wrong? I'm sure hunters don't have to equip aspects to make their exotics work.

Wait til you find out there is only 1 hunter exotic... When it's nerf is reverted it's all you'll complain about. You know the only exotic in the entire game that grants so much negative ae and there is no possible way to build it back even 0.

1 ReplyHonestly try out verity's brow it's ugly to look at but strong

It should just make the grenades have larger radius and be more potent as well

2 RepliesEdited by TractorCannonGuy: 1/20/2023 7:44:37 AMYou gain energy as you damage, thats the exotic perk, of course it's worth it That's like saying osmio gloves are a waste of an exotic because it requires coldsnap grenades

The real problem with charged void nades is you only get one fragment slot with the aspect.

1 ReplyThe sad truth is this exotic is probably the reason bungie didn't buff the aspect to bypass the charging. Personally I think they should increase the fragments for the aspect from 1 to 3 and charging grenades should give them a scaling damage boost starting at 5% and ending at 15%. Then the exotic could start at 15 and scale to 25%

2 RepliesAs a stand-alone exotic it’s a bit meh but if you build into it, it can be a phenomenally strong build being able to spam grenades to clear waves of ads and have that charge your super for boss dps.

3 RepliesEdited by Unstoppable_Screeb: 1/18/2023 11:23:54 AMI said this ages ago, contraverse should have chaos accelerant built into them. People went mad because it’s warlock obviously and warlocks aren’t allowed to have anything really potent
-
Contraverse holds is still a great exotic. It’s potent without a build, and with a build, you will be spamming supercharge grenades in high level content. If you pair that with the fragment that causes your grenades to weaken enemies. You get a build that allows you to do both high, and long lasting damage, especially to enemies.

7 RepliesYou have to Equip the one to make Grenades be chargable, but if you would run Void warlock you would equip it anyways because its just so good, you also Need to run vortex nade.
-
Dont waste your time. There are infinitely better exotics.

1 ReplyOff the top of my head...Omnioculus is pretty usless without trappers ambush aspect.
-
It still regenerates based on grenade damage so there's that. I never charge a grenade thinking "I'm so beefier now", it's not wise to just expect taking damage no matter what an exotic promised you.

Yes, it is worth using.
