Thought I would share as there's no mention on the official forums that I can see. Thank you to Paul Tassi for highlighting this in his article in Forbes.

3 RepliesIt’s their annual routine….. 1) Ignore customers for 10 months. 2) Go on vacation for no less than 1 full month (entire company). 3) Act like they give AF for a few weeks before new money needs to be thrown at the screen.

1 ReplyEdited by amazinj2084: 1/17/2023 9:44:35 PMI dont have a reddit acct and dont want one, but can someone make a comment to add more kinetic and stasis weapons with adaptive munitions? Like handcannons, scouts, pulses, shot guns, sidearms, fusions.
-
Makes sense because Reddit is a heavily moderated Destiny fanboy site. Lots of people will fall for this “we’re listening” marketing tactic.
-
6 RepliesGuaranteed Lightfall will have the lowest numbers of any dlc at launch.
-
2 RepliesBecause in reddit they can use bot accounts to upvote the easiest and least important issues to look like they care
-
2 RepliesI'm sure they will totally "listen" and this isn't just some PR move to make themselves look good to convince people to preorder lightfall. Wow such a great developer, so close to their community, very amazing, wow, gonna quickly buy a collectors edition now brb, wow. Yea they have been "listening" for the past 4 years and all we got is worse decisions and updates every single time. Zero feedback from regular players taken into consideration and only them catering to the tiny content creator minority. I am over it. Our feedback is never listened to. Unless your name is Aztecross and you openly make videos about a broken build or the sad state of the game, nothing is going to happen from Bungie. Their ego is their worst enemy. "We know best" mentality at its finest. No you don't Bungie. No you don't. I probably have more experience in your game than 10-15 of your devs combined. I know the flaws and issues in your current revenue develoopment cycle.
-
What’s the point. They won’t listen to 99% of it.
-
What good will feedback do? By the time any of it is implemented in 6 to 9 months we will want other things
-
35 RepliesWouldnt bother, it's clear as day why it's being done. They're worried about lightfall not doing well, player sentiment is low right now, as is engagement. They've had Devs on podcasts recently promising big changes too. This time last year they where crowing about 1 million pre orders, this year they're begging for feedback on how to change the game. They're lost, creatively , they're tone deaf and clueless. This happens when you block out negativity and surround yourself in positivity bubbles & echo chambers.
-
1 ReplyAll PR bs to sell more pre orders before lightfall, they do the same crap every year making it seem like they care then stay silent the whole year…. Community deserves better than these greedy 🤡
-
15 RepliesIt's sad to say but this is proof Bungie is floundering with this expansion. It's always good to ask for feedback and suggestions from players... but to do a month before a major expansion? We all know good and damn well, even if they were to do everything we ask, it can't be done by light falls release. The way their dev cycle works, we may not see any results until seasons 22 or later. This should've been posted a year or more ago.

Do you think that it could have something to do with the anonymity? I mean, to post here, you have to actually play the game. It takes way more effort to create smurf accts compared to Reddit. How can you steer the convo and set expectations with ppl that actually play the game and care enough to use the dedicated forums? It kills the velocity. See, its all about speed. They have their velocity to prioritize and you cant create the number of smurfs needed to sell this PR agenda before release. c'mon, maaaaaaaaaan!

40 Repliesso weird how bungie refuses to use their own forums
-
Oh that coward is still around?
-
1 ReplyI don't have a Reddit account, but I do have a Bungie account. If they want my opinion as to why I stopped playing with the reveal of Lightfall, they won't find it on Reddit. LOL
-
4 RepliesSound. Left my feedback. Told them to close these forums.
-
You mean they're asking for heavily moderated and basically curated feedback? NO WAY!
-
3 RepliesIt's a shame that they don't have a forum on their for players to post their feedback on... Oh, that's right
-
1 ReplyLooks like a PR move to me. It's like that Southpark BP apology clip, but instead "we're sorry", it's "we're listening".
-
1 ReplyDon’t waste your time.
-
5 RepliesI posted there just with the top things that came to mind for me. But. I’m semi out of the loop on the latest issues. I hardly am a proper representative of the community.
-
My favorite part is the people whining that they don't come here. lol.
-
Well crap, I put all my feedback on the forums well, because it's Bungie's website. I thought they might at least look at it from time to time...
-
3 RepliesWell bungie step down and let the real owner to fix the game “ SONNY”
-
😂🤦♂️ Feedback, right...
