Report: Relic-Data Step 4 of 6 Bugged; Multiple users confirm issue

ISSUE: Report: Relic-Data Step 4 of 6, "At the Relic in the Enclave on Mars, reshape a weapon with enhanced traits," will not progress step completion upon fulfilling the requirements for completion.
REPRO STEPS: Upon receiving this quest step, reshaped weapon with enhanced traits, no quest progress. Reshaped with enhanced intrinsic and one enhanced trait, no progress. Attempted with two traits, no progress. Attempted with original glaive that was crafted for the quest, no progress. Attempted by crafting a new weapon, leveling it to the necessary level, reshaping it with enhanced intrinsic and enhanced traits, no progress.
ACTUAL RESULT: Quest will not progress upon fulfilling the necessary criteria for progression
EXPECTED RESULT: Quest will progress to step 5 of 6

NOTES: Steps from YouTube guides on completing this quest have been followed. Different guides using various methods to complete this quest have been followed to the letter. The methods confirmed working at the time of these videos WILL NOT progress the quest step on my account, and likely others. This is not a "doing something wrong" issue. It will not work by doing things that have worked for others / in the past.

Same issue, tried reshaping original Enigma Glaive crafted back in early Feb last year, tried the Come to Pass, no progress. Those two are after the Step 4 was 'unlocked', I have reshaped many weapons with Enhanced traits throughout the seasons... Others have stated the catalyst for revision Zero works, I unfortunately haven't got many people to do Legend Seraph Station mission to test this possible solution... Made a post, just to get it out there, and found this help-post afterwards. Not only did it take around 6 months for the Come to Pass patterns to finally drop for Step 3, Me, and seemingly many other players, are stuck on Step 4. It's just disheartening and frustrating more than anything, especially knowing someone IRL, in the same household might i add, was able to complete this damn step... (Mentioned same household thing so no one can blame it on my connection or location...)

I have the same problem on Xbox and pc, I've tried everything and im stuck. I waited so long to Tarnation to drop and now I can´t get the quest to progress. Bungie please help.

I can confirm I'm experiencing the same issue. Wasted a boatload of materials and alloys reshaping 3 weapons thinking I was just messing it up. Really bummed that it's stuck but even more bummed about those alloys.

Yeah just did this, a full overhaul on Empirical Evidence, and nothing. Looks like its been reported; hope it gets resolved soon.

Yeah I'm having the same issue, wasted 6 alloys on this, thought I had to shape a throne world/ witch queen weapon fully since it wouldn't progres.

Same thing happened to me today. Added enhanced perks to three weapons - No Reprieve, Likely Suspect, and Enigma. Quest is still stuck on step 4. :(

Same for me today, 17th Jan. I’m only just back to Destiny after a year away so don’t have any weapons that previously had intrinsic traits applied, so I can’t try that route. Reshaped level 11 Taipan with 1 enhanced trait (nope), applied second enhanced trait so it now looks masterworked (nope), tried taking them off, putting them back on again (nope). Waste of time and materials. Absolutely stuck until (or IF) Bungie fix it. 😩

2 RepliesCan confirm this is happening to me as well. Just spent 3 alloys and 6k resonant elements thinking I was messing it up somehow or that it had to be a throne-world weapon. Thankfully I'm stocked up on resources but this could have a huge negative impact on newer players with less materials. Just trying to get things I want done before LightFall so this is really going to bug the hell out of me till bungie decides to take a look.

1 ReplySame thing, i just want the exotic glaive and nothing works... I've tried to lvl up a completely new weapon, waste of time ... needed to get mats for it, nothing ... waste of time.. Don't even know how i can contact bungie, so they could just complete it for me, cos i cant do -blam!-

Can confirm (XBOX). The glaive I used already had an enchanted trait from before I had the quest, so I thought I needed another one. 2 nights of grinding later, I reshape it with TWO enhanced traits and it still won’t work. Lots of time wasted. Wasted all my resonant elements too.

Same issue on PC. Tried reshaping The Enigma I already had an enhanced trait on didn't work, and I thought maybe that cheese was patched, so I made a new one, leveled it up, and upgraded it with one, and still no cigar. Sucks how many people are being robbed of time and resources due to this

Same issue here. Also a similar issue in completing 'The Hidden Shape' quest for Shaping Revision Zero (step 7). Hope this can be fixed soon, annoying having 2 or 3 quests unable to complete.

Exact same issue here. Enhanced frame and intrinsic have been selected and I've reshaped 2 times and used tons of mats to no avail. I hope if this gets fixed we get the materials refunded.
