Can't pickup bounties with the app
Is the Destiny 2 android app broken for anyone else? It opens up fine but using it to pick up bounties is very patchy atm, rarely it will go through but most of the time either the loading ring just stays spinning forever or it just fails outright. I've tried clearing the cache and data but it's still not working.
Edit: Actually now that I think about it DIM has been really janky recently too, so it's probably just the same API problems we've been having all season causing both.

Same issue here in the iOS app. I followed Bungle's instructions and deleted the cache and database but that's not made a difference. When I click the bounty it never times out which is unusual because normally if there's an issue it'll time out in about 10 seconds but these are sitting there 10 minutes later with the little wheel going round and round. Another thing is, I can start a fireteam search but I didn't see anyone joining so I went to close the team and then two players suddenly appear after I close it. Of course I can't invite them to a closed team. It's back to flying around the galaxy to pick up quests. This must be what Victorian Britain was like.

1 ReplyConfirmed, still happening on Android and IOS ... It's patchy at best. Most of the times it is "faster" (nothing fast about this ...) to travel to all the locations and pick them up in-game

Same issue here. It sometimes works after a long delay but there's obviously something wrong.

1 ReplyIts still broken and I don't see Bungie acknowleding the problem. My entire clan and other LFG players are all having the bounty problem. Bungie: any word on this issue?

Same issue again. Bungie seems to constantly break things in game and app. I feel like it is a ploy by then to keep people busy "fixing" problems they create. They take features offline and keep players struggling. Maybe they could try testing before releasing "updates" that make the game worse.

Also having this issue on iOS. Very rarely goes through. Oddly, I was able to use Windows 11’s Android emulator and use the Android companion app with some success. A pop-up on the iOS app will ask me every few bounties if I want to allow the grabbing of bounties on the Android emulated app, so I know the iOS app is connecting with the API.

Confirming this is still happening on iOS. Sometimes I can work around it temporarily by going to the Helm or Tower and I can get bounties then, but not always.

Wait are you guys referring to the Destiny 2 Companion app or a third party app? I can't believe it was possible to pick up bounties on the app either way, oh my lost time fr
