A message to the adult community
I think that the adults in this community need to be kinder to the younger people when they play raids, dungeons, etc. with.
Just was in a kingsfall raid full of a bunch of shower-lacking pve adults who were being incredibly impatient with a genuinely really nice kid.
You all need to realize that this is a video game targeted for kids. Stop acting so entitled and being so full of pride.

Everyone needs to be kinder. One world, one life. This is just a game. Relax. Accept. Enjoy. Matchmaking... If 2 are doing it slow and you're racing, you're the problem. Quit and redo. All are racing and you're slow... same. Quit, redo, or go with the flow. Strikes are 10 minutes average. Whatever you're trying to do in a weekly reset will get done. Chill. Matchmaking not 4 you? LFG. Clan. Real-world friends/family. Don't blame others for not playing your way. They're doing the same about you. Find what works best for you. & if it isn't fun... stop/change/accept.

Do you get young people who are respectful and contributing team mates? Yes. But OMG do you sometimes get kids whose behavior is insufferable…and people getting angry is understandable. I ran Kingsfall back in D1 with a kid who was probably 9 or 10 at the time. He whined, complained, and argued with team mates NON-STOP for two hours. He absolutely had to have everything his way or someone was going to hear about it. Over and over and over again. … and when he wasn’t being disruptive with the incessant complaining, he was being it by insisting on being in constant motion and constantly talking when the team was trying to problem solve. I generally have a pretty long fuse, but he got on even my nerves to the extent that I couldn’t get rid of him fast enough when we were done. He was just that exhausting to deal with. OTOH, one of my clan mates had a son about that same age at the time…and playing with him was like playing with another adult. In no small part because his dad made sure to enforce limits on the *rare* occasion he did something childish or rude. So there is enough blame to go around in both sides of this.

Wrong destiny is rated m for 15 years and up, kids should not be playing so I won't put up with them regardless of age, skill or personality

I would prefer not to sit in a raid for 4 hours because someone doesn’t know what to do

1 ReplyWell, my one and only LFG for a raid way back in D1 landed me with 5 kids. It was the Moments of Triumph version of Vault of Glass. 2 of the kids who were brothers kept -blam!- around during the Templar fight, causing several unnecessary wipes. One kid would just randomly start screaming at the top of their lungs into their microphone, so he got muted pretty early on. One didn't have a mic, making it 2 I couldn't communicate with. And finally, once we managed to clear this cluster -blam!- several hours later, the last kid broke down and literally cried because they did not get the Vex Mythoclast. The only good thing to come of this was that I did get the Vex. All of them sent me friend requests on PSN, which I promptly declined, and now I have an absolute, 100%, no exceptions, no kids allowed rule. It goes both ways...

Shouldn't people just be respectful to everyone, regardless of age, until given a valid reason not to...??? Obviously being 12 isn't a valid reason on its own to be an a$$ to someone.

Well the game is not targeted to kids, its targeted to the millions of people, adults too, that play video games. Other than that i agree with you a hundred percent, and even as an adult gamer i can tell you the destiny crowd can be rough.
