If you find me in the fireteam finder and you likely will on resets. Please note if Chill Run is in my title or anyone's title- it means Chill. Slow down. Stop expecting a 2 or 3 phase of each boss. If you're a wild tryhard that expects mods, speed, crazy high damage and perfect gameplay- Do NOT join. Chill means as long as it takes. First boss 5 phases? Whatever. Last boss 7 phases? Who cares. We're gonna beat it anyway. Stop acting so entitled to perfect gameplay. Not everyone is going to be some young cracked player that 2 phases your beloved boss. Calm down. This community gets so unbearable at times. If this is how you act. Don't join me.
Edit: Phase numbers listed are exaggerated. Just examples.

I'll be on the lookout for your fireteam finder post next reset.
-
I took chill as in have fun and don’t sweat about it if you die a few times and it takes a few phases to kill a boss. I love those fireteam post.
-
What? Kwtd or will kick isn't the right thing to say lol I totally agree with you...it is just a game chill and enjoy and have fun doing it...respect
-
For me the meaning of CHILL is not about the speed, it's about the vibe. I had a 28 minute VOG run , and everyone was extremly chill. Like relaxed, focused, profesional. And then I had once a KF run, where people were struggling to do the totems in less than 1 hour... it wasn't very chill.

1 ReplyAnd yet there are still those haters who still don't understand what this post means and still have to be negative. Sometimes it's hard for a bunch of randoms to find that comfort zone with each other to finally get the kill, so ya it may take a few tries before you work it out and find the right positions for everyone and complete the encounter. But so many ppl will just up and leave if you don't get it on the first try so your left constantly refilling those spots to finally get a patient laid back team not trying to Crack the game and just have fun and enjoy each other playing the game and just having plain old fun.

2 RepliesDungeons on normal difficulty are pretty chill in my opinion. Master just makes me get serious survival wise. Are people actually getting but hurt over going beyond a 2 DPS phase for them?
-
2 RepliesI joined a chill run once and ended up doing everything for these two players I left at final boss because I was tired of doing everything. They were killing adds the whole time and didn’t shoot a single nose
-
1 ReplyHaving mods equipped does equal chill, not having mods equals a bad time. Although Spire doesn't even have unstoppables, overloads
-
3 RepliesYou sound like you know you’re going to put out shxixt dps / the weak link in the group so you want a “chill run” LMFAOOOOOO
-
1 Replyif you agree with someone's methods or not; sweaty or non sweaty.. it's THEIR fireteam regardless; so respect their requests because they specified for a reason. i'm a sweat but i respect this post. <3

6 RepliesYou can be chill and not be garbage lol
-
Yes. However... If someone joins your chill run and is speedrunning through encounters to get them done as quickly as possible, that's still fine as long as they aren't getting on your case. I've joined a number of "chill" Nightfall runs and get told I need to slow down for no reason, which is the opposite of a chill run for me.

Cause that's my chill run.. play how you want and relax and I'll play fast with my preferred load out.. if I sweat a bit so be it lol I'm not gonna get mad if you don't

25 RepliesErr, 5 phases? Dude, I dunno about you but I can do it in 3 solo. If it's taking you 5 with a full team there's something very wrong.
-
I would like to see damage numbers that's about it as long as it's getting finished if it takes a bit no big deal.
-
4 RepliesChill means the run is so easy, it's chill. You want this: Spire: Be patient and be chill.
-
how is bro a day one but doesn’t do raids 💀

3 RepliesIf you're having a good time and it takes you 4+ phases on a boss, yeah that's chill. But if you're taking 4+ phases because you're f***ing up a mechanic repeatedly in the exact same way every time, that's not chill. That's going to grate on even the most patient person. They may not cuss you out....at least not while the mic is on.
-
I'm like you, just relax and it'll get done. I've soloed all but the boss (still working on those damn supplicants). So I know what I'm doing, and I know it's not that hard, but I'm not in some huge hurry to be done. But I understand why people are in a hurry. This game puts a huge time requirement on people if they want to stay on top of things. It's more of a job than a hobby sometimes.
-
Chill means laid back and having fun. But it also means competent. If you need 7 phases for a boss That’s a teaching run, not a chill run.
-
2 RepliesIf it takes more than 4 DPS phases on a boss , it is not a chill run, it's an infuriating run.
-
Fair point. The guys looking for perfect play should wait for posts that say “quick run”
-
2 RepliesHalf of my “chill” runs I get called a moron for running double special for max damage.
-
I thought Chill run meant stasis loadouts.
i may have been bamboozled
