Iron Banner - Should only drop iron banner stuff
NOT 2 blowouts per game its crazy how many blowouts drop …. i have had more blowouts then total iron banner gear or guns threw like 70-80 matches … this is crazy town. Im done ty

Bungie can't fix what is broken ... only fix things are not important to the player base. Promise to let you choose how you play but limits the way you can play

Edited by Seki: 1/11/2023 8:11:49 PMI would love to still get loot from 2 sources by playing one mode of crucible. The main problem is that IB loot rarely drops in the mode. An increase here and I'd be absolutely fine with that.

2 RepliesThe crucible drops are separate to the IB drops. They don't replace your IB loot. Why have people not learned this yet?

2 RepliesI kind of liked the D1 version. Iron Banner was Rank 1-5 Featured was 2 pieces of armor and 2 weapons. Each character had their own 1-5 Rank. If you reached Rank 5 on your main, the second character got 2x XP and I'd you finished on your second, your 3rd character got 4x XP so you'd finish all of your charactera relatively fast. You also got progressively more XP multipliers as the week went on, the most XP being on Sunday and Money where turning in a bounty could next you almost 800 rank XP per bounty. You unlocked a piece of gear for purchase with at rank 2&3 You unlocked a weapon at 4&5 There were 4 bounties. 2 gave a random weapon from the iron Banner loot pool and 2 gave an armor piece. Once you unlocked the armor or gun, it had a chance to drop as an endgame reward from completing matches. Shaders, emblems, ships, sparrows and ghost shells were eventually introduced and they could drop as well. At one point in Destiny we were drowning In Iron Banner loot. You could easily end a grind with dozens of weapons and armor rolls. Then bungie reduced the drop rate and people hated it and they eventually increased the drops during Rise of Iron. A hybrid system like that for D2 would be amazing. I've grown quite tired of the "Season Pass" style rewards especially when focusing the engrams is so friggin expensive and sometimes you barely even get the weapon or armor to drop at all. I'm almost 2 resets in and I've yet to get any IB weapons to drop aside from the sidearm and the BlowOut RL. I didn't even get any of the armor to drop until I hit around Fabeled 3/Mythic 1 and that was just on my Warlock.

Stop, you're making too mcuh sense. Plus, if they don't water down the loot pool with garbage, we might get everything we want and have no reason to bang our head against the wall continually.

not only should it only drop IB gear and weapons, it should drop more often. With the number of permutations on armour stats and weapons perks the chances of getting exactly the roll you want are pretty damn near impossible. Drop something every 1 or 2 matches and let us enjoy the game mode for the 2 weeks we have it every season. Its not like these are the things that instantly make us overpowered at all.

Nah... I gotta disagree with you there. Someof us actively avoid playing pvp for the most part so all this extra loot is a bonus tbh.

7 RepliesWhy are we asking for less loot? Its fine dropping both Iron Banner and normal PvP loot and it means you can farm a normal PvP weapon while playing Iron Banner if need be. I dont understand how this is a problem in any shape or form.

2 RepliesI have not bothered with IB that much and only just scraped in with Iron Lord at the end of last season but this season I thought I'd give it a go so I invested the required synthweaves to use the ornaments on all three characters. I then did the required 18 match totals on each character and collected the engrams, here's what I got in armour:- Warlock - Chest / Legs / Bond Titan - NOTHING Hunter - Helmet / Arms x 2 Six total armour drops from all the Iron engrams and pinnacles over 54 matches, I mean Bungie, seriously WTF?! Also whats with all the damned Blowout RL's, I could build a fortress out of the pile that dropped. Quit using your weighted drop spreadsheets, it's kicking a game that's already on it's knees squarely in the joy department.
