Is it possible to simply enable the game to run on 120hz if we as players have the equipment and means to do so? Instead of shocking the change every time the mode is Crucible, it could be a selectable option for simply “on/off” like other options that we can decide on.
Thinking out loud for this on since Iron Banana is live this week and the flips of frame rate makes me wonder if it’ll crash between matchmaking.

Doesn't Destiny already output at least 140hz? Why is everyone always raving about 140hz monitors? Or am I confused and it's 120hz.

I think they would be able to add it for next gen consoles. Mw2 just added it and you can play plenty of games at 120hz. Its called a performance mode.

1 ReplyThe PS5 and Series X do not have the power to do PVE @120. Not possible with this generation of consoles.

Maybe the reason is that your console [u]will[/u] crash if everything is 120Hz all the time?
