Bungie SMS verification not working

Hello, I am trying to verify my SMS for Destiny 2 Crucible (what a nightmare!) When I enter my number, it is stuck on loading as picture with nothing happening. I have tried re-starting, logging out of all accounts (steam, game, bungie, etc) to no avail. I have also tried writing Australian number in different formats but nothing will work! Any help would really be appreciated :)

    I even tried my using destiny 2 mobile app but it did not have the sms verification option only emails. Then i realized what my problem was, IT WAS THE F**KING COOKIE !!!! I had installed an extension 'i don't care about cookie' which i disabled and then in BUNGIE site setting i allowed few permissions like allowed notification, location, etc etc... and then i reload the page and it worked and i got the notification to accept the cookies which usually comes at the bottom of the page which i accepted and then boom , code came within seconds... BUT !!! now when i enter the code its telling me this - 'Patience is a virtue! Please wait before performing this action. (31)'...i even tried resending the code and applying it, but nope !!! So, i tried another method given by - ReignxOfxChaos That is - Once you get the code and the patience error pops up, go back and reload and tell it you already have a code instead of asking for a new one.. Apply the previous arrived code in the box and boom it works. Finally, problem solved and ACCOUNT VERIFIED 😁

  • Hello I Was also having this issue for me when i used a VPN to move my IP to USA i received the code and it worked.

    • I found the issue today, Bungie has not responded to anyone about this. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/262213453?sort=0&page=0 When you go to the SMS Verification page https://www.bungie.net/7/en/sms?platform=steam it will not work, if you remove the ?platform-steam portion and just use https://www.bungie.net/7/en/sms it should start working.

      • Same issue here, I posted 2 times already few weeks ago about it, never got any answer.. very problematic :(
