I’m tired of other players killing me intentionally on strikes
I’m sick and tired of other players being able to intentionally kill me to take me out of the fight on strikes. Today is Grenader with solar burn and black out modifiers, I was using a titan hollow fire chest piece exotic, with full Super I can spam grenades. A player comes in at the beginning of the end boss fight hits me with a sword knocks me into a wall and kills me takes me out of the fight for 25 seconds and then returns to me and does it again, he’s using some sort of solar sword that can make people fly faster across-the-board than I’ve ever seen in my life I call it the Warp sword, I have seen people use this sword to fly across boards to get ahead of everyone else and now able to take me out a fight so they can get kills just because I’m sitting there spamming grenades using modifiers to my full advantage. I tried to report the player but he left the room before I could get it reported, i’m sick and tired of other players being able to push around and intentionally go after other players on strikes, this is not the first time it’s happened but it’s the first time with a sword, while on the scooter I get pushed into walls to intentionally kill me. For some reason my player in destiny cannot push back against these other players.

You are not the only one tired of being griefed in Destiny 2. I just got shield bashed by a Titan. I wish I could send them flying into a glitch where they can’t get out. The players who deliberately ruin the game for others absolutely deserve the worst.

5 RepliesThis does not happen NEARLY as often as people complain about it. In the last 6 months not once in any of the match made PvE activities in this game has this happened to me or anyone else that I know.

But you CAN push back: 1. never revive them but dance near their ghost holding the revive button until 90% then releasing (do this repeatedly) 2. stand in front of them melee’ing them and shooting them in the face for the rest of the activity 3. run them over with your sparrow 4. learn your own eager edge in case someone does it to you 5. Switch to shoulder charge

5 RepliesI think people over blow this. It happens ever once in a while and some people just get so titled they come here to make it seem like it happens all the time. I've got like 3k hours in this game and I could use one hand to count the amount of times I have been griefed.

2 RepliesDon't take it so personally. Move on and enjoy the rest of the game. Why let that moment ruin the rest of your day/night. People get way too emotional over idiots being idiots in game. If it's really a big problem for you join a clan and don't solo que.

All you can really do is either leave that team or report for griefing/sabotage. I'm more inclined to believe that Bungie isn't really going to do anything to the players that team kill as it really doesn't effect the game that much over someone using cheats or hacks in pvp or sending threatening/harassing messages. Not to mention people have been team killing with Eager Edge, Shoulder Charge, Sparrows and what have you for years (even back in D1) and Bungie has yet to really do anything about it. Well they did for Warlock. You used to be able to team kill with D1 Solar Wind Melee and bougie removed it's ragroll effect and you also used to be able to team kill with D2's Hand Held Super Nova if you threw it at someone's feet, but Bungie removed that too. So I dunno 🤷

do what I do screw up their game and quit. find another strike. let them suffer. once a guy did that to me and as soon as I pull out my ghost he was begging me not to leave, I left

3 RepliesIf you check your own profile on the app and go to the last character you used you can check their in-game history. The listings will give you every game/mode/activity and will account for any players who joined up even if they left earlier or disconnected. [i]Happy Reportings![/i]

with that sword happens to me from few months ago, a player killed me on strike too. for 3 days ago I search of a team to do dares and one of a player took sword beat me and another player together, the other player died already and my character fly so high of another side of the map. that's ridiculous and annoying when players doing things like that. but a lot of players tried kill me with sword. I reported but I know that report isn't good and nobody take seriously. and I'm tired of that bulls**t too.

With the enhanced perk (can form this sword at Relic on Mars Enclave and yes, I have one I made with this and carry it with me to use for that reason if someone wants to do that to me lol), it greatly increases lunge distance when you swap to this weapon and perform an uppercut within a second or so of pulling it out. Lord knows I've had my share of "Misadventure" or "Killed by Architect" by being Eager'd by players
