First have it available and option to turn off for those that say neigh. Proximity chat for people in public spaces on planets, tower, etc. The closer someone is the louder the voice. Imagine just walking up to another character and simply asking them for help in a dungeon or asking them about an item or shader they have. Saves so much time than typing and finding teams. Imagine having a meeting area on tower where people can go to for help. I thought for sure day one would have Proximity chat due to the nature of the game. Again, optional to toggle off. I think it would add more immersion to the game.

To create more latency🤔
-
Would probably crash the connections/servers

Between all the good and bad that could come off this, I’m totally down for this. Ha
-
Pve wise Im about it
-
Absolutely not

1 ReplyWhere is that horrible mumble rap being played through a roaster coming from?
-
Will never happen. Maybe of D3 ever comes..MAYBE
-
Would be cool but people who play the game will just turn the feature off via muting chat while in public spaces. Assuming someone will help you because they are a older player is a terrible thing to do. They have their own time and things to do and aren’t required to help. A small amount of players will help you not all

2 RepliesThat would be an awesome feature and is the best suggestion I’ve seen on these forums
-
3 RepliesPeople said this about game chat channels... and they virtually never got used. Great idea in theory, waste of time in practise.
-
I wouldn’t use it, but think it’s a good idea A feature like that which is off by default wouldn’t be a bad thing - so why not
-
1 ReplyToo many toxic people saying horrible things. It's a good idea on paper but will be a nightmare in practice.
-
Neigh lmao

4 RepliesI have one response why My best friends are anywhere from 20-29, and 2/4 of them STILL DO Velociraptor screeches Velociraptor screeches don't stop and the last thing I need/wanna hear is a choir of boys running around the tower screaming at the top of thier voices well running hella fast Great idea truelly but so many ways it will go wrong
-
Also odd how we're to go into random lfg groups with the chance of undesirable audios but this can't at least be an option. Option means that you don't have to. If one doesn't like Mac and cheese it doesn't mean everyone else can't enjoy it. Let it happen.
-
3 RepliesI'd rather not have a 12yo child screaming down their mics mid crucible match, MW2 is already bad enough with the surge of them due to Christmas
-
1 ReplyAgain I put in there to put it in as an OPTION to open out for those that didn't read thoroughly.
-
I'd like it, it was great in Halo 2. Has some awesome moments, like sneaking into the base on Headlong and saying nice and loud "OK guys we're all hiding downstairs, ready to attack, just waiting for you." Then as the enemy all jumped to the bottom of the tower, we'd walk in the top and take the flag. This game is seriously lacking that kind of tactical gameplay.
-
We had that in Halo. Im fine without it. Its mostly for trolls trying to mess with people. Its people playing loud music thru their mic or just being rude.

14 RepliesThat worked back in ps3 / x360 days but when they added party chats on console no one sits in game chat anymore. It would be cool though for sure.
