New IB Mode is Trash
serious, bungie nailed it last season, it was fun
this version of control is a gimmic filled horrible game mode with horrible flag position

10 RepliesOh look what we have here it’s what they call a whiny little &%+@# .. Everytime Bungie do iron banner the whingers are out crying over something.. This mode is fine for iron banner the only problem is the vast majority of the elites and sweats in crucible just can’t understand and do what the objectives are or just refuse to do them because they think capturing or controlling a area is beyond them …

It’s a damn site better than D2 rift. It’s painful obvious which team plays the objective in it versus other modes.

But without mercy, I seen teams have overwhelmed points against other team and it awful cuz it make players quits. But now, it is worst mode of IB I ever had play. It like I want pull my hair out and throw controller at screen.

I actually like Iron Banner now. But it’s broken. It keeps freezing and saying that we are the problem/ie: connection issues but it’s not. The turrets come- which is great, but it freezes on the turrets and then kicks us out. This has happen three times already. And I’ve played a large number of matches since what? Yesterday? Lol. I didn’t like the last iteration of Iron Banner with “ you are the hunted” and “now you are the hunter.” I hated that. If they can fix the performance issue; I’d be Gucci. I hated being forced to play Clash BTW. We should have a choice between Clash and Control.

I swear dude, people know there are going to be bubble titans but don’t use blade barrage or the use their whole super to kill some half heath guardian They don’t even go for points then wanna moan about the characters and the game Control has around since D1 and people still don’t know how to play it.

I felt like they were misleading in their description for the mode as I was under the impression that once you captured a zone, if you continued to stand on it you would fortify it with turrets or cabal reinforcements. Instead we got team camping simulator. As a team collectively sit around and watch the paint dry.

It's fine. Sure it's not ground breaking in its complexity, but seeing as this is Destiny and people can't even get heroic public events right, I'm not surprised. Just chill, man. It'll be gone next week then you can moan about SBMM or Trials or whatever the new meta garbage is.

And its doing as soon as you start and have no idea how the mode works. I had no idea what was going on the first two matches I played and I'm still not sure when the turrets spawn or what makes them spawn. Either way, the changing modes every season is cool.

Now if it was a mix of this zone control AND eruption that would be sweet... then maybe people would also have a super to kill the bubbles that seem to be everywhere like zits on a teenagers face
