Can we get more ways to earn exotic armour in lightfall?
Grinding the same lost sector over and over in hopes I get the 1 exotic out of 12 that I’m looking for ain’t it. then I need to cross my fingers and hope the stats are good only to then have to wait half a week until gauntlets are on rotation again if or should I say when they don’t drop.
Please change this slog of a grind or allow decent stat exotics to be pulled from collections. How many times do we really need to earn the same exotic before we can say I’ve got it for good.

2 RepliesAs someone who now has earned all exotics across all classes, I will suggest doing the Legend Lost Sectors 3-5 times. Then stop, if you don't get what you want. Turn off the game, or do something else. Come back another time, and do it 3-5 times again. Heck, do Master once or twice. That way you don't burn out, or end up mad at the game. Once you obtain the Exotic, the good thing is it starts to drop from everything else including your Season pass, so there you can compare stats.

Lost sectors are fine for acquiring new unobtained exotics but grinding for high stats is bad. They should just open up more lost sectors and allow them to target specific items.

Their idea of alternate method of acquiring exotic armor would probably involve having to insert a cattle prod up your urethra based on their general philosophy.

grinding lost sectors for loot or exotics is boring it was just a quit fix for bungie back in the day that ended up working in the long run but my god come on we need a new way to earn these new exotics plz....

Simplest way : Make drop tables for exotics across all activities so you have strike exclusive exotic, NF exotic and so on. Less clutter and more loot to do all activities

id rather they update what we already have to actually work with the 3.0 subclasses imagine if ace counted as solar weapon final blows for your solar 3.0 subclass all of are exotic armor is also outdated we need more aspects and fragments for gameplay variety + exotic armor updates but also new exotics would be nice too i thought for the last word catalyst it allows you to use it while ads with the fire rate becoming 180 and on precision kills you get a blinding nad kinda like how forerunner works this blinding and matches the damage of your equipped subclass

The system would be fine if there was a way to increase/reroll exotic armor stats. I was rocking the 51 stat Secant Filaments I got from doing the legend campaign up until I got a new pair during Festival of the Lost as a random drop.

1 ReplyThere needs to be a reroll mechanic in exchange for those exotic ciphers that you can get old raid weapons for.. I can't be assed to run a lost sector 20 times to get my pathetic <60 stat gear piece to a respectable 65+ without 20 being in strength sure would be nice

1 ReplyThe math is kinda crazy on the lost sector grind. First there's a percentage chance you even get an exotic to drop, then there's a percentage chance that it's the one you want, and then there's a percentage chance that it's even close to the roll you want. Like zoinks scoob. On top of all of this there is a 1/4 chance that the armor slot you want is up as the lost sector. Then there's a decent chance it's one of the horribly long moon lost sectors. Then you're running exactly the same activity over and over and over in hopes of defying the odds.

100% spot on. I Hate the fact I have o grind lost sectors for new exotics. Just let them drop in the wild.

It's time we are able to farm a specific piece pf armor. Not just chest, arms, etc. I want eg Cowl - let me farm for it specifically.

2 RepliesDo not do the same stages over and over when Exotics can fall from anywhere. I get most of my Exotics from killing rank and file enemies, believe it or not. Finding them on the go has slowed down some what, but I am still finding 1 or 2 per session during basic activities like Patrol or Public Events.

4 RepliesI just want more than 1 exotic armor piece or weapon. I liked when Forsaken added all those weapons and armors, although some of them were very niche like Cerberus+1 and Malfeasance. It's just that the ratio of new exotics to old exotics is very slim, and I don't feel like I'm getting much for what I'm paying for.

I'd mostly like to know where the ones from this season are. We've gotten new armor every season for quite a while now but nothing this time around. I've seen some folks reporting they see something in the API, but still nothing earnable in game as far as I know
