Sometimes I wish we had all champion mods available each season

That’ll make things allot smoother when running content that requires you to build a team with mods half the times you gotta hope someone not running a trash weapon. 😅

    • I just want champions gone. Find another way that challenges us without drastically reducing our loadout options.

    • I wish it was just a weapon mod. Either barrier, unstoppable or overload. Slot it in to whatever gun you want. Free up some slots for arms.

    • I do get very bored running the same damn weapons for every activity. Give us three mods for each champion. Primary, secondary, and heavy. Make us choose which one will stun which type. Overload primary and Anti-Barrier secondary? Better run Leviathan’s Breath so you can stun unstoppables.

      • PVE meta and game design would not change. Last I checked, destiny 1 is still in a primary scout meta. That passive play created stale game design. Everyone would just sit back and snipe everything to progress. There is a reason why destiny 2 promotes more auto rifle and smg gameplay. Get you closer in the action. Risk and danger is what makes the game fun.

        • As long as the artifact doesn’t provide both a primary and special weapon mod for each type of champion, we will continue to see players running double primaries. Imho, I don’t see why we need so many different primary weapon anti barrier or overload this season, with only GL’s as special (which costs 7 energy slots), and only for Unstop. Sure we can use some exotic special weapons that have champion mods embedded, however I still fail to understand why this season’s artifact is so restrictive in terms of special weapons mods.

        • trying to get the anti champion weapon to activate is annoying. i tried to do a master flawless lost sector but, the overload wouldn't activate quick enough.

          Champions should simply become “treasure goblins” without the need for a stunning concept. Each season, every enemy type champion should drop unique loot catered to the enemy. Kill a Cabal Champion: Get a cabal shield melee weapon. Kill a Screeb Champion: Get an exotic that creates explosions when your health is low or upon your death. Kill a Vex Minotaur: Drop an armor or weapon mod that allows your guardian to stun, blind or disorient enemies upon breaking a shield with a melee, grenade or weapon. The possibility of creativity is endless, however, Bungie logic does not believe in creativity but greed wrapped in a close minded box.

        • I was going to agree with you, but then the top comment (at the time) reminded me why they exist in the first place. It’s about forcing weapon type metas rather than accessibility or utility unfortunately

          • Champion mods should go on the gun itself. Only on primaries though. That way Bungie can still attempt to force their crappy dual primary system on us so they'll be happy, and we can use whatever the -blam!- we want to use so we'll be happy. At least try making this a 2-way street Bungie.
