Simply put, Skyburner's Oath cannot trigger Ignitions easily as it should be, sporting around an entire magazine to ignite one enemy with Ember of Ashes. When compared to other Exotics that essentially build up to an explosion, this is a very slow option for something that isn't inherently powerful; Polaris Lance can get off a couple of Perfect Fifth Shots in the time it takes to get a single ignition, Malfeasance can get a bunch of Explosive Shadow hits to activate, and Ticuu's Divination needs to be shot twice to do 1-3 explosions, that vary in damage and circumstances.
Make Skyburners Trigger an Ignition every 7-10 direct hits would put it at a good pace with similar weapons.

Edited by Klaus_Reaper (Adept): 1/1/2023 10:03:32 AMTo be completely honest, i rather see Surplus on Sky Burners oath, such a cool looking weapon one of my favorites, but feels so heavy man, i can't use that gun without Ophidians aspect.

3 RepliesIts not made for ignitions. Its made for scorch...which synergises with lots of fragments . Also..1 skyburners shot + weighted knife is an ignition.

2 RepliesScortch is just something added to the game that does nothing. Have you looked at the actual effect of it? My Scout Rifle that applies the scortch (nightfall modifier) is doing 3,468 per bullet with a 260 rpm. But the scortch ticks are 169 per tick. That's TWENTY scortch ticks just to do the damage of one bullet from my fast firing scout (Trustee). Scortch alone can't even kill 1 thrall, that takes one bullet.

1 Replywhy only skyburners and not pol lens? it needs 100 shots for 1 ign

Agree and With P.Lens as well.. however... If you have a great flying Sun breakers build... It's constant explosions paired with these guns.

It just needs to apply more scorch so that it can actually genuinely have synergy with scorch set ups.
