Oppressive Fusion Rifles
For over a year now, Main Ingredient has been probably the most oppressive fusion rifle in PvP, with an adept Plug One being a close second. It boggles my mind how after nerf after nerf to shotguns, you allow weapons like those to be as lethal as they are from such a long range.
I don’t want to be all negative so I’ll propose what I think two solutions could be:
1) nerf those two in particular
2) disable charging the fusion when shot for that archetype

As a side arm and smg user I have to agree... they need more projectile spread after 10 meters.

Just prevent precharge for fusions.

Fusions are not a problem, special ammo economy is, not saying remove the ammo but reduce the ammo then specials don't need to be nerfed for cry babies

11 RepliesFusions are the direct counter to shotguns. Seeing that you're crying about ancient shotgun adjustments even with things like Matador completely bricking people right now, it tells me you're a heavily biased shotgun main. A shotgun will lose to a Fusion 90% of the time. That's always been the case since D1. They've been pretty much nerfed out of relevance, especially Main Ingredient. The other Fusion Rifles are not nearly as useful as they once we're. If you're consistently getting killed by them, then it's you. Good shot gunners can get the kill. Fusions have to outrange shotties bc of the charge time. It will all be this way. Get over it.

7 RepliesShotguns and snipers are consistently the most-used Special weapons in Trials and Comp. Why should fusions be nerfed when they aren't the most used? If they were that good, they'd be used the most.

4 RepliesThe majority of people who main fusions have no primary shot whatsoever. This meta is just ability spam + team shot + special weapon spam. Absolutely hilarious how Bungie said they want to veer away from spam and yet here we are, once again.

I’m a antaeus titan main so I don’t longer really care how busted fusions are. It’s very satisfying fully deflecting a fusion shot and getting the kill without even needing to shoot or punch, then tbagging.
