Seraph carbine and handcannon.

I hate that I can farm a dungeon and get old guns that aren’t even good. No one wants the seraph carbine, I still have a few old copies in my vault. Why make them dungeon loot? It’s almost insulting to do a whole encounter only to get slapped in the face with old loot you already have

  • Dude. Youre nuts. The carbine slaps with rolls like reconstruction and target lock or fourth times and target lock. Not sure about the hc.

    • That's intentional. Trash drops to make you grind harder and longer for the desirable stuff. The new and desirable stuff also has way lower drop rates to waste your time even more. Even the hats have like a 1 % drop chance cause Bungie knows thats all people want. This company is the worst these days. They keep wasting our time just to satisfy investors with high player engagement numbers. Just don't bother and stop giving them your valuable time.

      • The seraph gear should be random non chest drops from the season event. The dungeon should be dungeon gear and only dungeon gear. This is ridiculous.

          I'm convinced that this was pure spite because in Duality ATLEAST the two reprised weapons were craftable. This is just: here take these two weapons that aren't even sunset and have a useless origin trait for kinetic weapons. It wouldn't have even been so bad if these weapons simply had a chance to drop alongside new Spire weapons and not in place of them.

          • They could have at least changed the look somewhat. I mean that's really all they are doing with weapons across the board now anyways. They are all the same but just look different and have marginally different stats that largely can't even be felt in game.

            • I find the “loot chasing” to be counterproductive to having fun. Imho, the dungeon, or any activity, should drop resources that we can use to buy x or y goodie at each respective NPC. This would make any activity more fun to engage into, since we would not have it drowned under expectations. It would also make more sense imho if we could buy any red frame, from whatever NPC, at a price. I would also include the respective exotic. That would make this game closer to a grinding/farming one, instead of a damn slot machine.

              • I like the perks. I got a Seraph Revolver with full bore, accurized rounds, Reconstruction & Redirection. It self reloads to double capacity with a max of 23 rounds in the chamber. You basically never have to reload the Revolver. Just shoot & keep it moving. Wish it came with timed payload. 23 rounds of explosive ammo would have been nice.

                • Don't insult my guns just because you can't use them to their full potential. My carbine and cannon are just fine in any engagement. It ain't the gun that sucks. It's the user.

                    • Yeah I must of FARMED the second part (where to the scout drops) 20+ times before I got ONE to drop was constantly getting the auto or helmet (NOT THE NEW COWBOY ONE THOUGH)

                    • I have a seventh seraph carbine with reconstruction and target lock. The thing is a beast. There are definitely guns worth farming for. Also, they now have an origin trait. The originals from Season of the Worthy have no origin trait.

                        I personally wouldn't mind the reissued seraph weapons... if they'd at least bring back warmind cells to be usable again. Seraph weapons have some new perks and a new trait - but their main draw was generating those cells - which let me remind you are still -blam!- and unreasonably costly as armor mods.

                        Why? Because this way you need to play a lot more. Drops are HEAVILY weighted against new stuff, so enjoy your Dares drops and live inside the dungeon if you mean to get anything else. As disrespectful as it can be. Most disrespectful thing in game they did this entire year, and that says a lot.

                      • Not to mention you've technically paid for the same content 2 times. Just like with the opulence weapons or the ikelos weapons, which is actually 3 times. I will say you can get an interesting HC roll with reconstruction and vorpal which when paired with lucky pants can do some serious dps.

                      • I mean, I got a carbine with Target Lock and Reconstruction that is pretty awesome. Did I want it to drop from the dungeon? No. It could have gone in the world drop pool, but Duality had 2 old reissues and I don't remember anyone posting that they had a problem with it.
