Spire is not fun.

Ok. This dungeon isn't fun. Seriously. Nothing is dropping that makes this dungeon worth playing. The third boss is buggy. The fact that the minotaurs either spawn two at a time or not at all makes the lock down impossible. The endless spawns of supplicants is just... No. It's more fun to run the older dungeons that were fun like Shattered Throne. This latest stuff is super buggy. Blue drops and bad rng make it pointless. This dungeon is a chore in it's repetitiveness. We have lives and jobs. We play for fun. This is just work and we're not getting a payout. Everything that's dropped is worse that what we get doing Heist runs. Not cool.

  • Looking at your characters builds, I’m sorry but it’s not the dungeon. I would invest some time learning how to make better builds Not trying to be rude, but your setups are not suitable for any sort of challenging content

    • Counter opinion - Shattered Throne is by far the worst Dungeon, it being older doesn't intrinsically make it better. It was cool at the time but, in hindsight, the entirety of it being dark blue and with little music - the music it does have is from Dreaming City activities, rather than any unique tracks - makes it not great aesthetically. It barely has a mechanic to speak of and the bosses are genuinely pathetic because their health and damage isn't scaled for how powerful we are now. The loot is also just regular Dreaming City weapons and armour. Also, no Dungeon encounter gives you blue items as a reward, that's just completely false.

      • The buff is extended whenever you connect the next node. If you’re with a team, 1 player should be able to have plenty of time by focusing nodes. If you notice your timer is low (10 seconds or less), consider getting a new buff before finishing the 2 final nodes. That way you can avoid having to scramble for another buff to lock down.

        • Playing the game is a chore. You have to grind and grind to get a perfect roll on a weapon that hardly drops anyway and if you are so blessed to get what you want.......... What then? Play the same old strikes for the millionth time? Play the same strike over and over all week? Fighting lions should be godly this season for hunters but... I just don't enjoy it, I'd rather use my smg. The fact that something is good doesn't make it fun... The fundamental crisis of Destiny. No one is playing to have fun, they're playing for trinkets that don't change how you play the game, that once you get, there's nothing.

              It's the drop rates that are disgusting.. that huge loot table and I've had arms as the pinnacle 3 weeks in a row. No insentive to run it

            • I think it’s a cool dungeon, not better or worst than others, average I’d say. But the loot pool is bad, carbine and revolver should not be in there.

            • this dungeon is effectively bug free. the only bug is the stasis lock bug and that's neutral at worse and player positive at best. Skill issue.

              • Who's this we? I haven't experienced any of the bugs you've mentioned. Dungeon is quick and easy. Sidearm is cracked, the scout is unique and the GL is as well.

              • The only problem I have with it is the amount of HP the bosses have. But this is more of a problem with the mod system and how all the different buffs stack than anything else. Because with the correct stacking of mods and buffs we have become so powerful Bungie have had to up the HP of new bosses. But the unfortunate set back to this is the amount of time I’ve got to spend optimising my load outs which I can’t always be bothered doing in which case it takes way more damage fazes. I sort of miss the simple days of D1 where WOL or a tether would do.

                  • It is okay. What definitely is not fun is when you are in a team of three and one of them just runs through the entire thing to where you cannot tell what is going on.

                  • Difficulty-wise it's not too bad, the final boss can be a little tedious. Loot pool could be better, I think I got gauntlets on three of the encounters. It's a fun dungeon, but not the best. I'd give it a 6/10.

                  • Supplicants were a bit much.... Wish the dungeon weapons were craftable. Don't know why Bungie only let a select few from Duality be craftable.

                    • Wire mechanic drags on. None of the weapons are craft able. Still no incentive to get Artifice Armor. First boss is reused. DPS phase for final boss feels really short. Still better than Duality.

                      • I think it's a pretty good dungeon. The loot pool is trash, but that's one of Bungies specialties. They simply cannot come up with a more inventive way to make you want to play the content. And, that is kind of a trope among all loot-based game devs. I haven't encountered any bugs in the normal version, except for when you revive yourself after going down in the final encounter, you sometimes spawn way back before the fans, sometimes you spawn in the red lighted room before the long drop down to the boss, and sometimes you spawn right where you should. This was a bug in Duality, and Bungie never learns from their mistakes. Now Master difficulty is a different story, and I'm not even going to go there. I'll just say that it's beyond poorly designed like most of the rest of end game content.

                        Disagree with like everything you said and never had any issues with first boss. Dungeon is fast and easy with no RNG to encounter mechanics it’s a speed runners dream.

                      • I don't see a problem here. Dungeon is kinda easy. Solo flawless a few times already and adds are your basic vex trash. My only problem is the fans 😭🤣but that a skill issue on my part. I would admit the reused weapons are a bit of a let down,but I have a vault full of weapons, so ..... Meh.
