Seraph’s Shield Quest/ Mission
Yesterday, 12/22, I was able to complete this mission solo. Took most of the day, as my comprehension with puzzles makes things difficult.
I just wanted to say overall it was a lot of fun and felt great to complete. I was really glad to learn that there are no champions and more so no timers in any part of it. Feeling rushed wouldn’t have been fun.
I also really like that I could complete this solo. I haven’t done raids or dungeons. Mainly I don’t have a lot of friends to play with, along with figuring out how to do things/ order to do them, can be hard. This was a pleasant surprises, especially as I reflect back to see how everything worked.
It was a nice quest that ended with an exotic reward. For those who designed it, just wanted to say well done! I hope you design more quests like this. I really enjoyed the space jumping. Both terrifying but a lot of fun to complete.
Lastly, I like that you made an exotic that can be crafted, and later on customized. I would encourage more of those in the future.

Now you'll have to go through it solo a few more times again for your warmind nodes. But it is fun.

It was long and confusing at firs completion but I've been dropping in there a few times to practice and speed run some rooms and look for secrets.

1 ReplyJust finished it solo on Legend for the first time. Really good fun and will put it up there with Presage as “recent D2 things I have really enjoyed”. Agree that the absence of champions and timers is firmly in its favour, as never got to finish Zero Hour and was only able to complete Whisper during those odd few weeks a couple of years ago when it was bugged and you could do like 25x damage. As someone who doesn’t raid, this was a great semi-introduction to the mechanics and the absolutely spectacular locations of DSC (and having never done the raid, I am obviously less bothered about the repeat use of existing game locations). Looking forward to exploring further once the Security Clearance buff becomes available.

Mission was a 10/10 in my book, i haven't tried solo but i really enjoyed causing chaos with some friends in the mission And the exotic is crispy
