Some ppl in the community have talked about this as well, but I think the drops are just too low. I don't think we should have to regrind this content so hard and for so long just to get some red borders on the one farmable week it is available. Farmable weeks should have a bigger boost to where id say 25% of drops should be red borders (that's still 1/4 cp clears). Idk this just feels like repurposed content that is needlessly grindy. I want to go into deepstone for a little bit this season get these weapons crafted that I want and call it a day tbh IN A SEASON, not over the rest of d2's lifespan lmao. I play a good amount too but I dont have time to sit in deep stone a few hours a day just to get one weapon crafted. Since there is no extra red border chest either it is worse than any other raid for deepsights. kinda silly if you ask me.

2 RepliesWorst part is they told us all the red borders we got prior wouldn't work, not because the weapons are different (they're the exact same) but because bungie artificially did so intentionally, i literally had like 3 or 4 different red box weapons that were pointless, it's like how my red border ikelos smg wouldn't count despite being the same Bungie doesn't care about our mental health (and our time and effort too) even if they say they do. If we ever get craftable VoG weapons (I've got so many dupe red border VoG guns) they'll do the same as DSC, GoS guns too.. they KNOW we've had red border versions to drop for a long time now, they KNOW if they made them craftable we would have them early because WE put the effort and time in (and rng luck) to get them... But they'll intentionally sabotage us by making the "new" versions "different" yet literally the exact same as they were before so that they don't work towards pattern process, because we the players cannot have anything nice... Ever.

All Deepsight drops are way too low. I only ever seem to be able to get the "guaranteed" ones.

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 12/24/2022 5:56:11 AMIf anything, they should be higher than normal because we’ve already done this raid so many times. It’s just so disrespectful to player time investment. RNG in this game is just trollish at this point.

Drop rates for red boxes are too low accoss the board even the season weapons are reddiculas iv only managed to craft a glaive not got a single redbox in a week of constant playing also having the season activity 5 or 10 levels above whatever your power is is just punishment for leveling your character the whole point of leveling your character is to make things easier not harder
-
I'm worried, by the end of the season, I may just craft 2 weapons from DSC
-
They want you to spend as much time as possible logged in. Of course the odds are almost astronomical.

With 2% drop rate and no mechanism for guaranteed second red bar, only worth doing once a week. Having said that, it is still a fun raid with clan mates and normal weapon drops can have good perks and healing trait; I got a posterity with volt shot/rampage.
-
I’m just going to be doing the 1 per week until there’s a second guaranteed source. It’s a waste of time otherwise even if the encounters are farmable. A simple solution if they don’t want to mess with the drop rate is add a second guaranteed source for example: the first taniks challenge each week per account. I’m just going to slowly work my way through. I’ll be done on May 23rd. (Skipping Bequest because it’s still so meh…)
-
I’m struggling to even motivate myself to do any raids, let alone one that I have done countless times.

You'd think a season leading up to Christmas would be generous. So many games have events during this time of year that are generous and back in D1, Bungie actually gave players Christmas/New Year loot. I guess they hate us now.

I got as many raid exotics as I did red border commemorations lol. If the drop rates are double raid exotics, that’s nuts. I get it being a chase but dude if I can focus farm 2 weapons with double drops for 5 hours straight…. 5 red borders…. 5 lol. I will admit the reward is worth it with how cracked some of the perk combos are on top of the new origin perk
-
I grinder for about 13 hours and got both heritige and succession patterns. I think current drop rate is around 15% or less. Every 7 or so of the same gun should drop with deepsight imo
-
yeah 6h of of double drops even if the step takes 2 mins to finish 2 weapons is bad
-
Well tbh if you have a god roll shotty and sniper already you're better of just doing the raid normally every week or not paying to the patterns at all. Same with most if the weapons really because half the enhanced perks are still somewhat useless, like 5 extra reload or accuracy all that stuff. No one is telling you or forcing you to farm all of the borders asap except yourself and if you really dislike yourself that much and wanna grind 100+ runs then go ahead no one is gonna stop you but just saying it's probably gonna be faster to just do the raid normally each week until they add a guaranteed way to get a red border other than the first weapon bought. Just to clarify I'm not trying to be mean just trying to help is all.
-
It took me and my friends about 4-5 hours to get the sniper and shotgun patterns while doing the challenge... Couldn't imagine what it would be like trying to get say the scout or hand cannon pattern by not doing the challenge.. it would take away to long. 5 patterns is also a bit much even for relevant new content.

2 RepliesEdited by Ferus Lux: 12/24/2022 1:44:08 AMNot even worth it and mind you, DSC was my favorite Raid. I give up on crafting. It's a waste of time and the crafted versions are only better on paper and only the truly obsessed will notice a difference in gameplay. There is no content you can't clear if you don't have crafted weapons.

9 RepliesThey not. Do your three full clears and forget about it.
