Legend of Acrius
Does anyone else think that it's time for LoA to be a special weapon instead of a heavy? It is too underpowered to be heavy. It can't compete for that slot in pve or pvp. Special would have a lot more people using it imo.

It'd be too overpowered as a special, and would be subsequently nerfed if they put it there. Acrius's problem isn't its performance. Its problem is that too many enemies, especially in in higher end content, heavily discourage close range combat (either being too lethal at close range, or mechanics in their fights make it difficult/impossible). If close ranged combat was more welcome in higher end content, then Acrius would see more use even if it wasn't meta.

It is almost as good as D.A.R.C.I.. which is not saying much.

Acrius on a punchy Arc Hunter melts, but it's an in-your-face kind of playstyle and not something you can do from the back of the room. Not useful for every boss encounter, but a lot more useful than most think it is.
