Seraph shield needs checkpoints
I've mostly loved the mission (except the microwave room) but getting halfway the 3/4 the way through just to get an error code and lose all my progress is really not fun. As a mainly solo player it's madly frustrating to have no checkpoints in longer missions like this when the servers are so constantly unstable. We can't be expected to waste entire days due to error codes just to get through one mission. This is really basic quality of life stuff that shouldn't even be a question frankly. Please bungie, checkpoints are really all this mission needs.

This... I just tried this mission recently, I solo'd it on Legend, it was neverending... when i reached the first rally flag, i thought it was safe to take a break... i came back and had to redo everything because i was at the start. I completed it, but soloed legacy again the next day to get the catalysts... the second time was a lot faster but still, you are basically held hostage to the game for a few hours...

100% agree. I'm mostly solo, and I just don't have the time to get all of the way through. It's annoying to spend an hour or two only to have to start from the beginning some other time because D2 is not my real job.

5 RepliesIs been super buggy for me too, enemies lag and won't die but most annoying is that my crouch randomly stops working so I can't go thru vents or under lasers and have to restart

Can't finish it because I keep getting glitches. Can't crouch, can't dodge. So I can't go through the vents to progress. Got to a door and it wouldn't let me use the augment device to open said door. It wouldn't register that I didn't have the operator buff after leaving and coming back. Ridiculous. I've restarted the mission twice and get the same glitches.

I tried it last night after a few beers 🍻 it was pretty easy when I knew what to do and then I get a scanner and completely lost the plot.. 🤯 why can’t I find anything with beer goggles on 🤤 gonna try it again today sober but it is the holidays so beer will start to flow again eventually 🤗

I attempted Legend last night with a group. We made it to boss room, than it brought up joining allies and proceeded to take us all the way back to first encounter/mini boss fight. We cleared it again and than the door would not open and once again we got thrown right back to that first encounter. Just said F##K it and quit after that BS

I got error coded 3 times and lost use of up-emote and crouch for the entirety of it. Luckily I was not alone and was able to rejoin.
