PvP:
-From what I heard, its just a above average pulse. My sweat friends have said the 2 burst feels the best. Nothing crazy going for it other then it’s high range and flinch.
Sniper form has VERY high zoom and AA, same damage as high impact sniper variants.
PvE:
-Acquiring Target data takes to long and the layout doesn’t feel rewarding enough. Sniper form does poor damage(when compared to Vex’s linear and especially Quicksilvers grenade launcher).
I don’t like that you can’t stow the shots or swap back to the base firing mode when sniper is active. You must commit to using those shots once you swap, and the shots don’t do enough damage to warrant its “longer charge” time.
-Quicksilver hits for almost 60-75% more (Enemy dependent)with its grenade, when compared to Revisions sniper. Vex has a much easier time getting to its base form, same with Quicksilver.
Reason I bring these two other weapons up, they share the same “use base mode to unlock a secondary mode” feature.
Hoping with fourth and vorpal it can gain some traction, but currently, apart from intrinsic barrier, I don’t see a reason to run it over Vex/Quicksilver or the other two barrier options being WishEnder/Arbalest in the kinetic slot.
How is everyone else feeling about the weapon?
