Just wanna point out yesterday I got #Rift 3 times in a row, then after getting 1 Showdown, it threw 3 more rifts in a row at me which was dumb. 3v3 Rift is fun and all, and I usually do really well when I’m in a full fireteam, but it’s not okay to give us Rift nearly 6 times in a row! I thought I saw somewhere that Bungie said they fixed this, in like a tweet or something, but, it doesn’t seem to be the case. I’ll load into comp and bam I'm hit with Rift right off the bat. Not cool. I’m Adept 1 now, I’ve played a good amount of Comp since they’ve revamped it, and it’s really been frustrating getting Rift — which to me is still a very new game type — being featured in comp. I think Rift has a section by itself you can click on and just play rift, and I think in crucible labs someone else mentioned rift being there also. Rift is being heavily Featured in crucible and it’s kind of infuriating, specifically in comp. I’d also like to point out how unfair of an advantage it is that titans are able to ballistic slam from quite the distance to the rift zone to get an immediate score. I realize I’m complaining about a game that encourages people to play and work together as a team to win, but unlike in Survival or Showdown, in Rift, it is pretty much impossible to 1v3 the enemy if your team is trash, is AFK or quits on you, leaving you solo to get brutally smashed. What is especially sickening about that last paragraph, is that as a result of trash teammates, AFK teammates, or rage quitters in comp, if you lose, Bungie punishes you and your rank for losing the match. You lose rank points and de-rank! At least in Survival and Showdown you do actually stand a chance if your team is absolute trash, are AFK, or they just flat out rage quit on you after losing one round!
