Focusing Umbrals For Ikelos Guns
I've lost count of how many umbrals I've focused on the Ikelos SMG but haven't received a single red border. I read the upgrade list but it didn't seem to say I needed to upgrade to get red borders just to get one guaranteed per week.
Is it possible to get red borders from focusing ikelos at the Helm? Or only one per week with the upgrade? I've focused 10 guns or more and got not one red border. I have no complaints about my rng generally but this seems a bit much.

7 RepliesI haven't gotten ONE SMG to even drop, since DLC came out. I was beginning to wonder what I was doing wrong. I've only gotten the sniper from ranking up to level 7 with vendor. That's it. No other Ikelos drops.

It’s better to use basic focus first until you have at least half the weapons in the pool crafted, then start focusing on individual weapons.

Just got my final one in the exotic mission. Now it’s level up time

I logged on focused a bunch of engrams. Got trash, turned off game. Turned on god of war. See you next season i literally so tired of wasting time in this game.

I’m half way through my second reset. No pattern yet. Total of 3 red boxes so far, shotgun and sniper. I’m done farming heist. No longer fun at this point.

1 ReplyYou can get red boarder drops from direct focusing. I got the last 3 I needed to craft the smg from that way, better than using the option for focusing all 4 ikelos weapons
