really this small change would let me enjoy trials. I'm a low kd but I'm playing theses 1.5 through 2.0 in trials I want to have fun and play people who are like me but I can't.
edit: holy people got mad over this

1 ReplyJust watched 3 streamers play together and just stomp ….it was actually quite sad really as the players they were against had no chance . It’s just totally unbalanced and unfair playing field . Pvp needs to open up to include more players not just the same group of people who are just farming
-
10 RepliesYeah man people get extra pissed when anyone dares to challenge the way pvp works in this VIDEO GAME. For some people I guess trials is all they got going for em in life.

13 RepliesPosts like this prove that people either dont know what sbmm is or dont know how trials works. Before asking for trials sbmm, try flipping a coin until it lands heads 7 times in a row. See how much fun you have with that.
-
19 RepliesYou won't go flawless with sbmm. Maybe try shooting your primary and not bot walking spamming melees.

Edited by A_mo: 12/21/2022 3:27:06 PMPeriodically trials has what is basically sbmm in freelance even if it wouldn't be called that. Some people need to understand that sbmm (or close to it) elimination is just a completely ridiculous experience for the people that it doesn't help. So having it all the time probably wouldn't help the mode overall. SBMM is the entirety of PvP except for the rotator and its important to point out what that means for a lot of people. If people are supposed to care that some people can't play the game because they aren't good enough to play without the stuff then people should also be expected to care what happens to some peoples' games when the stuff gets turned on.

53 RepliesNever. Endgame pvp isn't your practice ground

3 Repliesstop guys it is like talking to a brick wall
-
11 RepliesIf you can get the same rewards as everyone else, then you should play everyone else.
-
5 RepliesOr, you could practice in normal pvp/comp which is sbmm, until you become competent and your improvement translates to your ability to go flawless and not have to rely on sbmm
-
3 RepliesSBMM doesn’t work the way trials currently functions with 7 consecutive wins. If SBMM was added the methodology/mechanic to go flawless would need to be changed.
-
11 RepliesNo it shouldn't come and won't come to trials
-
7 RepliesThat will never happen unless bungie removes the 7 win streak system and replaces it with just wins. This is very unlikely to happen.
-
11 RepliesKind of sad that we've made it to the point where Quick play is even sweatier than Trials of all places. 🥲
-
9 RepliesBecause statistically and theoretically speaking sbmm cannot work in trials due to the fact of you needing 7 wins out of a maximum of 8 (with mercy card). If this was achieved via sbmm then sbmm wouldn’t be working. True sbmm in trials would make it impossible to hit flawless.
-
8 RepliesMight I introduce comp and quick play for your sbmm modes
-
1 Replyi hope never, bad players should not get adept trials loot simple ,
-
17 RepliesNever sbmm would force 50/50 win loss ratios. In return 7 straight wins would be more difficult to achieve. Ex. Grab a quarter and try for heads 7 times let me know your outcome.
-
5 RepliesTrials is the one mode you won’t see SBMM in.
-
3 RepliesHopefully soon… would be amazing if bungie added it
-
19 RepliesBungie said in an older TWAB that Trials is getting FBMM, not SBMM
