I love activities where you actually feel you are traversing great distances and getting to the top of the spire and looking down and seeing where I began after the climb was amazing.
The sound design on both the environments and the weapons are top notch. The mechanics are also easy to grasp but the real challenge was staying focused while also trying to stay alive and the swarms of enemies punish an ill planned route so good job on that for sure.
The armor is also really well done and is the first batch in a while where I looked at all 3 sets and didn't feel like one class was left out.
The only thing I'd change is the Seven Seraph weapons dropping but that's more a personal gripe.
Easily my new favorite Dungeon and I would love to see more set in the physical game world rather than dimensional rabbit holes.

2 RepliesTried it, was ok until the final boss. Pain in the rear with all that stomping. No intention of returning to it.

1 Replygood dungeon, but: 1. bosses are way too obviously more beefy, specially persys, 6-8 dps phase with alll the bufss possible. 2. the fans in the jumping puzzle, like the last jump geometrically blocks me from jumping into the crack in the wall. R.I.P my flawless run (only deaths at fun, rest of dungeon was flawless + jumped and the fan above me also instakilled me, just hate how rng that jumping puzzle is) 3. master overload champ spam, pls stop, overloads ignore the constant overload weapons and instantly heal up in 1 sec from 1/3 of health, or 2/3 health. i gave up master final boss spire and left the game.

I like it a lot as well. Grasps is still the best in my humble opinion, but the grandiosesque Rasputin architecture is great. And the dungeon design is simple and fun

10 RepliesMost lame dungeon among all which exist. Endless enemies, one of bosses is harpy from GoS, other one is oversized chicken.
-
2 RepliesI’ve enjoyed it too, though I could do with less supplicants. God, do I despise supplicants.

6 RepliesJust took down the final boss solo as part of a segmented solo playthrough (Well of Radiance Warlock with Rat King + Catalyst, Null Composure and Cry Mutiny with Weakened Clear and Solo Operative mods equipped). Took me seven damage phases to work the boss down (would have been six but my phone rang which startled me into reloading before landing the killing blow). I really enjoyed the visual design and layout of the Dungeon and look forward to completing a non-segmented solo run likely this weekend, and then hopefully a Solo Flawless sometime in the next few weeks. 6 RepliesI like it, but what I don’t like is getting recycled weapons as “new” loot. Kind of bums me out.

7 RepliesEdited by Omega-7: 12/17/2022 2:12:59 AMI love the dungeon too because of the armor, it’s unique compared to the other armor since it has a Wild West theme to it and it completes the solar hunter. I also like the mechanics all around the activity and I know a lot of players say that the first boss is just the Garden of Salvation boss but it’s my first time fighting this type of boss. But overall it’s a really fun dungeon to play and I would totally recommend it to anyone who is interested. And so… Yeeehaaw!!

5 Repliesone bad apple is that there is just one mechanic and its piss easy once you are over levelled.. also take away that artificial increased "tediousness" (because its not difficulty) of having super large bullet sponges and its a strike. or nightfall if you are generous,. imaging this whole thing with normal red bar patroi enemies and you have a strike. i am a bit pissed that this is supposed an par with grasp of avarice, or whisper of the worm, or the hawkmoon dungeon or pit of heresy, or basically any other great dungeon.. this is just not a "pay extra 10 bucks" dungeon.. thats the entire critique.. nice nightfall or strike.. but nowhere near a dungeon.

1 ReplyObligatory “but the seraph weapons” comment. It sucks, but outweighed by cowboy hats cause those are awesome. B tier dungeon but can’t wait to try for the Solo Flawless
-
TL;DR this dungeon is electric cable management simulation with Vex as pest.
-
22 RepliesI really like the recycled boss and seraph weapons (for the 600th time) in a paid dungeon.
-
1 ReplyI'm happy because today I got the Exotic Bow (which is awesome) plus I got the cowboy hat for my warlock 🤠

I like the season as well. It is much better than the last one.

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
I would remove the encounter before the Garden Boss, it's a snooze fest to farm, wow connect 3 sets of wires? And that's an encounter? I tried to farm it for a redirection long arm and fell asleep several times, the ghost town encounter at the start should have been the first chest, it's more engaging But other than that a solid dungeon, better than Duality, the bosses are a bit tanky especially solo, but the connect the dots mechanic isn't too tedious , better than having to kill bell keepers between each phases I would put it 3rd behind Prophecy and Grasp -
8 RepliesNope! Fed up playing whats becoming a Platform Game! Hate Platform Games with a Passion, FPS are fine - Platform Games are for Kids.

“I really like this” “this part of this season is good” these are drugs to bungie hurry up and help them or let them overdose while you watch.
-
I thought that the bosses were too tanky at first, especially during the blind run, but I don't think it's the case in hindsight and with a few more runs under my belt. Having done Shattered Throne and Pit of Heresy in the last week for Pinnacles, and with all of their bosses dying in one phase - barely a few seconds for Dul Incaru - without really putting up a fight, it's a nice change of pace to have a boss that's threatening. Persys is to Dungeons what Rhulk is for Raids. In more recent runs, both bosses in Spire have been dying in 3 phases pretty consistently, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. We're so used to melting bosses with ease that anything requiring over 2 phases is considered to have too much health. In the solo flawless, both bosses took me 5 phases, which is within the realms of expectation for a solo Dungeon boss.

It's OK. I'm already bored of it and don't care about the bow. The other weapons are mid. Wouldn't care if I didn't run it anymore.
-
For me, it is better than Duality by a mile but that's not saying much. I don't like it really, the mechanic is lazy and the boss fights are reskins of boss fights with one copy pasta and one reverse with a common wyvern model. Too much jumping, it's a tired boring mechanic lazy devs use that can't code or develop. This isn't a platformer. The minotaurs are coded with first mover advantage and always teleport before attack, which is corny because how can they obviously tell, so you're stuck waiting for the teleport before attacking. I absolutely despise the fact the boss is immune in it's wings to super damage. I'm ok with it being immune to weapons but super damage is stupid. Teammates to move to the side causing the boss to turn make the fight longer than it needs.

Spire has its issues, but I do thoroughly enjoy it. :)

Edited by Dopamine: 12/17/2022 6:59:16 AMThe wiring mechanic is easy enough it just feels really tedious while doing it. The red bar enemies basically just take up space and don't serve much purpose with our power crept guardians. You really only end up interacting with cyclops and minotaurs, everything else is basically ignored. So idk. I'd rate the gameplay as less than mid.

It was aight...
-
4 RepliesIt’s good, not great. The fact you can’t craft the weapons is slimy and obviously a tactic by Bungie to increase playtime for this mediocre season. I can only guess that the ability to craft the weapons will come next season when nobody cares about them.
-
5 RepliesThe mechanic needs to be varied more. It's the same for over half of it, then, oh, red wires. Only for the boss is it slightly different because you actually have an objective. The vex trying to infiltrate Rasputin is a real threat lore wise, but...yee haw. Makes no sense at all no matter if you think the armor is cool. The lack of objective in mechanics and encounters makes all the enemies seem like a chore more than anything. Oh, here's some supplicants too. Everyone I know feels like it felt half baked with decent loot and is mad that the two serph weapons seem weighted to drop more.

Edited by First to Wipe: 12/17/2022 2:16:03 PMYeah got booted outta a master final checkpoint irritating and annoying but I may just skip this season to get the bow catty or wait till be at least 1600 no hurry anyway or anymore it’s not that complicated but when u have toxic teamates well and of trying not to get blown up by harpys nvm
