Less is more. That would 100 % apply to D2. Instead of giving us throwaway garbage content every single season to justify the $10 price tag every season, i would rather have zero new activities for a few seasons and them working on the core game. (Which is left behind and ripped apart by their DCV). Work on the core game would be way more worth than this unhealthy seasonal model noone can stand anymore.

Imaging as a teacher telling your students to just be average and not to overdeliver. Imaging being a parent happy your child got a C because they didn't overdeliver. What a crappy outlook on life this is to just be good enough.

The passion like forsaken? You do realize It was Activision that provided the resources that is the only reason forsaken was a fairly good expansion, right?

Bungie is never going to over deliver again unfortunately. The leaked GDC presentation is a clear look into how they perceive their playerbase and their live service. Bungie employees are even getting brazen enough to say the quiet part out loud of that they don’t have to over deliver anymore because they already have your money.

The community is bored. 'Progress' (if we can even call it that) in the game is so meticulously held back [i]by design.[/i] EVERY boss has a gated life bar so we don't kill them [i]Too Fast[/i]. Our Light level is gated first and foremost by the stoopid Artifact, and then by the Frakkin RNG Pinnacle drops!!! Playing on a single character, my warlock 'main', and playing solo or matchmade content, I have NEVER managed to hit Max light from pinnacle drops! Not once since the implementation of 'seasons' model. Every currency (except silver of course), has intentionally low maximum caps to keep us grinding. Every task is grindy! It is very evident that most of Bungie's effort is focused on milking us for MORE money, rather than delivering on what we [i]already gave them![/i] 99% of drops are WORTHLESS and get immediately sharded. This is true even of frakkin exotics! Perhaps most irritating of all (in a subtle way), is the fact that the game is designed to have [i]no end.[/i] There is no point between [i]anything[/i] where players can feel 'done' with tasks enough to make logging off to do something else feel good. The grind never ends. As a result, the game feels like work, like an unending burden. The only thing keeping us around is FOMO and the "Sunk cost Fallacy". No. We are not greedy. If they over deliver once, that becomes the expectation. The next time they deliver the standard amount, that gets seen as under delivery. That is the reason you're wrong, that is the reason they can't over deliver. Conversation over.

MVP. Minimum viable product is their mantra. If they are trying to recruit, any talented developers should seriously consider working elsewhere.
