Dawning 2022 less content?
Need to be careful what I put, as giving valid feedback got me banned for 12 days last time.
Comparing the tower to last years (https://youtu.be/othNtjB3684)
How have you ended up now charging for what used to be a free event? But put far less effort into tower decoration? Barely anything as far as decorations go, other sections not decorated, NO SNOWBALLS?!? It’s not going to ruin anyones Christmas sure, but it just screams barebones to me, and more unfortunately it’s just backing up the negative community sentiment that’s rife atm.

I don't care about that. But what's worse is that it's just a copy and paste of every other year, and has a paid card too. Not that I'm spending the money - the card loot is always offensively trash. It's the lack of effort for every event that gets me mad. Just more of the same strikes, crucible, gambit. Just like all events. All seasonal challenges. All exotic quests. Etc. Everything is just go do the same thing in this game. I bloody can't bother anymore. Halloween was the first event I've ever skipped in destiny history. And I can't even tell, I missed nothing.

It is pretty sad that the talk Bungie gave during GDC just last week flies in the face of what they have been doing this whole past year. We get nothing but recycled content that had little to no new dev time put into it and increased prices for things we already had

3 RepliesI should've at LEAST been able to throw snowballs at my fireteam. Feel like they missed an opportunity here. Could've had a pvp mode with snowballs instead of weapons. Snowball fight Playlist.

Snowballs made it fun, normally it doesn't take 15 minutes to walk to Zavala, normally. They should make it a Stasis ball, for extra evilness. [spoiler]We need the tower snowball fights. (Hint: always snowball the guy with the highest season level) [/spoiler]

4 RepliesHonestly other than the aforementioned snowballs not being in the tower, this one is basically the same as last year’s and the year before’s. For free players, this event is all about the weapons. Dawning has some really good weapons. Glacioclasm is arguably the best reservoir burst fusion. Zephyr with Cold Steel is really solid. The new pulse has a stacked perk set with multiple top options. Avalanche got a perk refresh with fun new picks. Cold Front seems to be the odd man out as it’s just meh. These events have and always will be for the spenders. That’s how MMO events have worked for decades. Small fun rewards for players, small new gameplay feature (snowballs and ovens), and a whole lot of paid cosmetics. Destiny has no reason to be any different.

3 Replies“Charging for what used to be a free event” I’m sorry, can you not bake cookies for free this year? Do bounties cost silver? Are there not free rewards to obtain? There’s also no snowballs in the tower, yes, but activities actually have snow balls, which I care about much more.

You throw snowballs in strikes now, which is more useful than mildly annoying random in the Tower And the upgraded card stuff is worthless , so no issue -

Some of you have been complaining for 2,3,4 or more years about the same things. Let's just assume they aren't ever going to make the game you want and move on. Unless it's reallyore about findi people to hate wokeness with, then you are ABSOLUTELY in the right place, Bungie forums .
