Say what you will about the many many mistakes and failures of Bungie lately, and I will probably agree with you, but I actually have fun in this seasons activity, it's perfectly paced and the enemy density is more than enough for 3 players , while playing it yesterday I had a relevation, holy crap I am actually having fun and am not worried what reward I get,the story this season isn't the best, has I think they are just tapping into SIVA and Warmind member berries that won't factor much into lightfall, and the dialogue is super cringe, but I enjoy chaining supers , and plowing through adds with my mini riskrunner Ikelos , I haven't had this much fun since Menagerie and Reckoning
And they didn't just reuse the seraph bunkers from worthy, they actually added neat new areas to them(I love the little laser puzzle) I also give them well deserved crap about lazy reskins and recycles but this has been a pleasant surprise , it may be lowered expectations and I will probably get bored of it soon, but right now I am having fun
I know alot of people will disagree with me, and I respect your opinion if you do, just wanted to throw my humble 2 cents in

2 RepliesEdited by The-IIID-Emp1r3: 12/9/2022 3:45:22 PMYeah it's kinda fun although the amount of incessant extreme enemy spam in the final room (on top of soawning champs, activity PwrLvl always being 5 above your own PwrLvl no matter what.. essentially a soft-contest-mode) isn't fun. Specially against Scorn (vandals that go immune as they constantly vanish teleport to another spot while you see their movement trail but cannot do anything about them until they reappear... That crap is infuriating to play against)

3 RepliesThey are too long for the intended purpose. They really feel like a chore after the first 3 or 4 runs
-
1 Replyeh. i'm kind of over it already. it takes way too long. not a fan of this seasons champion mods. i've ran it 4 times on 1 character and twice each on the others. and if i never have to run another one, i'll be okay. also for me... the loot has been trash. just junk armor. with last seasons activities (ketchcrash and expedition) - there were a lot of red frames dropping. i have not got a red frame for a single new weapon so far.
-
My only issue with them is they take a considerable amount of time to complete compared to previous ones. They didn't seem to adjust the number of runs needed to complete bounties and quests....
-
2 RepliesI had one shot.... That was enough for me.... I find all the warmind/Ana stuff really boring!
-
Let us know your thoughts after completing 50 runs for the triumph. Like all seasonal activities. They’re fun at first because they’re new. They tend to get old and stale quite quickly. I’ve run 5 thus far and could care less about running them anymore but there will be weekly triumphs to complete in the future that will require more runs.
-
4 RepliesI don’t. So far, there is absolutely nothing I haven’t seen and/or killed/killed by literally tens of thousands of times. Glad someone leaked a cutscene because I’m not feeling this season at all.
-
Toooooo looooooong.
-
Not a huge fan of the activity itself and don’t like that we’re going back into bunkers…wasn’t a fan of it the first time whatever season that was. However, I will say that I like the upscaling of enemies to 5 levels above you. It will keep the encounter having a little difficulty instead of the usual vastly overpowering everything. So I give Bungie props there.
-
3 RepliesEnjoy what you want dude. 👍 That being said, I ran one, and was bored instantly. That’s after nearly taking about two months off.
-
1 ReplyLittle laser puzzle? Was that a puzzle?
-
The artificial difficulty novelty has already worn off and it's now too much effort/yawn for too little reward
-
I miss Ana's old VA. Her new one sucks.

Edited by Illuminary: 12/9/2022 4:05:03 PMI massively disliked it until I put on breach and clear with forbearance using the blind aspect on arc warlock. Now, I can tolerate it as everyone was blinded and weakened. But as someone else said maybe I'll wait until later to do as little as possible because it is a tedious slog. I was using the wrong load out previously, obviously, but now I know.

1 ReplyHard to draw a clear conclusion since is the first week. Many changes will take time to sort good from bad. So far pleased with the changes. It reuses old relatively well liked content with modifications. The plot is less preachy more inline with existing so far. Much needed economy modifications will take time to figure out where there are shortages and excesses. Much needed weapon and ability modifications will take time to sort good from bad. Years old issues remain, but the fixes so far give me hope. Previous season had many newish events. The cliche nature, side story based plots, and missed fixes turned many people from dislike to hate and fans to disappointment. Giving this season a try and hope to remain a fan.

I’ve actually been enjoying them too. The craftables drop a lot more frequently this season too

-
I like them but I've also liked most activities the first week, we'll see how long after the honeymoon I still like running them.
-
Yeah I'm having a good time with it.

Edited by Bestoc: 12/9/2022 7:08:44 PMIt's the least offensive seasonal activity I have done, mostly due to only being 3-man and the +5 light enemies.
-
Aye even as a returner after 4 months away i enjoyed the heist battlegrounds too...not partial to multiple helpings of "calabrese" though 😏

Edited by Hazuki: 12/9/2022 4:07:55 PMAdding that bunker on Europa behind clovis was pretty neat imo

7 RepliesFeedback for Bungie: Award more currency upon completions. 500 for a single seraph chest… activity completion grants 20 per run. Up currency to 50-75 per run instead.
-
I enjoy it a lot more than the pirate stuff last season.
-
It's a lot of fun. Like you said, the enemy density and pacing is extremely well done. I like the personal heavy creates, such a great addition that I didn't realize we needed.
-
Yessir, I share your sentiments.
