3 RepliesThat would require new standing animations in the character menu (otherwise Hunters would stab themselves in the head). And in all honesty, I'm not sure Bungie's willing to put in the work to make that happen.

1 ReplyWith chill clip and grave robber. Not going to happen, for some reason they have very specifically decided to make glaives a terrible weapon choice and have no idea why.

3 RepliesEdited by Brickinthewall87: 12/5/2022 3:07:40 PMWell, they did mention enhanced cold steel being a thing next season, so either the dawning sword will be craftable (which would be odd given that other event weapons have not been) or we are getting another craftable weapon with cold steel, that could either be a sword or maybe a glaive. Since we already have an adaptive frame sword with cold steel, it's probably going to be something different. Hopefully, it's a glaive like you're hoping for! Edit: If we're REALLY lucky, maybe it will be a stasis glaive with cold steel AND chill clip. Fingers crossed

Bruh that would be too much. I wouldn't get invited to any raids because no matter what the dps meta would be I would never take it off. Cold steel and chill clip on a glaive...they'd have to make it exotic. There would be no other way. Drop in a scorn crossbow...f it.

5 RepliesReally hoping this glaive hit detection fix works. Too many times I've shot someone in crucible, got shield energy from hitting them, but they take no damage.

I wish, I love glaives as a weapon and the nerf is gonna hurt but I think I can still make it work. Especially with stasis.

2 RepliesWhile others are all geeking out about this can’t be a thing cos stasis weapons are in the kinetic slot I think the game actually needs to let stasis be in all slots cos it’s restricting potential builds. Would love to run riptide and a stasis primary at the same time, also like op said a stasis glave would be nice paired with a stasis primary to maximise element well mods.

and a exotic kinetic glaive that folds when you stow it.. the kinetic glaive would have adaptive munitions intrinsically with its perk being that blocking damage grants shield energy

I could actually see a stasis glaive being added as the dungeon or season pass exotic. Not that I think it'll happen, but when you look at the exotics we've gotten from those places, it'd kinda be a fitting choice, especially since the only exotic glaives are the class-specific ones from Witch Queen and they're inherently limited by being locked to their classes. I wouldn't be surprised if they added a legendary one this season though, especially since we didn't get a glaive last season and its the featured weapon type for Witch Queen. I'd love them to experiment with new archetypes too, maybe give glaives that have the shield replaced with some sort of trace-rifle or linear fusion-esque beam, Idk.
