Players: Fed up with D2, TWAB: Here's nerfs and zero meaningful changes.
After following the community outrage during the last few weeks (well deserved btw), reading through that twab which literally only announced the usual nerfs to everything fun and useful while buffing completely trash perks and weapons that NOONE will ever use even buffed.
Zero recognition to us, zero perspective for anything that will improve our experience.
Just some crossover ads for eververse cosmetics, talk about generally hated artifact champion mods still dictating our playstyle and nerfs on top of nerfs. Zero talk about the pvp ability spam sandbox or ritual playlist content. The "what we can look forward to" section tells us about exciting upcoming heavy weapon dps nerfs and AE being tuned to WHAT WE ALREADY HAD for primaries. No meaningful nerf to invis.
God this company is awful. Literally zero exciting points revealed. Just another battle pass, xp grind, story drama that's worse than watching a painted wall dry (timegated and drip fed ofc), a comp mode that uses a ladder ranking system with SBMM (LMAO), every other casual pvp mode using SBMM, nothing for gambit, weapons removed from the lootpool once more to produce more fomo.
So excited for the next season guys!

68 RepliesHonestly, anyone who thinks this game is going to be as good as it used to is either completely delusional, or being paid by Bungie to say otherwise. It's time to move on. I haven't logged in to destiny in 3 months now. There are several other titles worth playing with more meaningful grinds, entertaining gameplay loops, and game developers that actually care about and listen to their fanbase. Refund Lightfall if you have pre ordered it already, stop putting in playtime. Even moreso if you've been playing since D1 and have 2-3000 hours logged. Bungie does not deserve your dedication, nor do they value it.

If you preordered Lightfall, cancel the preorder and get your money back. 2. Don’t log in for the first week or two of the coming season. Hurt the player count. I will be doing both of these things. I have plenty of other games I could give my attention to that are more deserving than D2 in its current state and the state they’re about to put it in.

LOL = D.A.R.C.I. It has been on list of “top 5 worst exotics in Destiny” since it came out and NOW they are making changes…? That right there is the definition of “tone deaf.”

33 RepliesThe witherhoard nerf is so mindblowingly dumb it's actually impressive. They are desperately in need of an injection of new players, so why not nerf the best entry level exotic. That literally everyone has used while learning the game mechanics but still being able to make a worthwhile contribution to any fireteam they join.

Seeing Hung Jury as one of the 2 Nightfall weapons next season is the final straw. IB rework gets no new loot 3 seasons in. Comp rework no new loot because they dont see it as a place to grind for loot HUH??? Now Nightfall weapons they literally took away a year ago are going to come back, plus a garbage version of Wendigo. This is beyond pathetic. They are clearly doing the absolute bare minimum. It's so disappointing to see them not put any effort into saving this game. The population will plummet again next season, and rightfully so.

Over-promise and under-deliver is how I'd describe what might be the weakest and disappointing exotic rework batch we've ever seen. It's like they don't even play their own game.

It’s true, some changes are sad to see and I get that it can ruffle feathers. I don’t think the whole TWAB was bad, though, but it’s just my take. This forum cried relentlessly about invis. Bungie thought up an interesting fix and nobody even mentions it. Everyone is so determined to waste energy and brainpower searching for things to complain about. It’s strange how much power this game holds over the people who specifically go out of their way to try to convince us that they’ve given up on Destiny. I honestly prioritize other things over Destiny, though, so I guess if this is the biggest thing in your world at the moment I’d be worked up, too. I dunno, I’m trying to empathize but I think I need more practice or something.

5 RepliesWhat is so sad about this company is that they are nerfing weapons based on stats WITHOUT really understanding why a weapon or ability is used excessively in the first place. For example: Witherhoard use in the crucible is one of the top used exotics. Why? Because players mostly use witherhoard in the crucible to get the damn catalyst and not to gain an advantage! Tweak the catalyst requirement and its job done without pissing players off. BUNGIE you are so blind and ignorant to the actual state of play in Destiny.
