Make the weapon crafting relic a vendor, leveling it up could permanently unlock perks for all crafted weapons
This would add a lot of ease of use to crafting as well as cut down grind.
Crafting weapons, leveling crafted weapons, and completing bounties for the relic vendor could grant reputation.
Each level will permanently unlock perks for crafted guns.
For example: You level the relic to level 16, this unlocks all the perks and enhanced perks for all craftable weapons. So as soon as you unlock a weapon for crafting you could immediately craft the weapon of your desire without spending hours grinding weapon levels just so you could equip 1 or 2 perks.
This would also give players more freedom to swap perks and try different rolls.

Crafting in its current implementation, is both lack-luster and frankly down right boring… get rid of it. Its completely stupid and detracts from the game

Yeah I completely agree with that. There’s certain weapons i like to keep on all 3 characters but i cba to do the level grind again n hv to keep switching that 1 weapon all the time so that would be awesome.

Bruh! I just can’t wrap my mind around repurchasing perks Ive already unlocked. Why can’t I switch the perks around when I feel like it without buying them all over again on the SAME crafted weapon? I just cant 😂

They are luckli looking into this and other weapon perk systems. From i can say just trust them and give them at least till season 21 to make a chnage to it. they lisen but they are slow and they slow in implementing it and telling u that they are implementing it

4 RepliesThis sounds perfect from a players point of view but from the devs pov it’s either a lot less play time per customer (which they don’t want) or 1 he’ll of a grind to get to level 16. Plus would that rank reset at the end of each and every season or once you hit 16 your good forever?

While they're at it, they could make the "sunseted" versions of weapons that still drop "reshapable" into the non-sunset version. At the exchange of Ascendant Alloy. But... Bungie's whole game is making you spin the hamster wheel, so they'll never do what you or me ask since it ends up in "less grind".
