Really disappointed about the community event.
I was hoping it would be at least somewhat fun, but it’s really… really not.
It’s very clear Bungie didn’t really even try considering the biggest prize is just a ghost shell, hopefully the Eliskni quarters place actually changes in a cool way to make it somewhat “worth it” but even if that aspect would be good which I’m not counting on, even that would just feel SUPER underwhelming. Considering they probably will take out the quarters in the following seasons as seen before.
The fact that it even came out bugged is kinda embarrassing considering there’s nothing really even there to be bugged.
Disappointed, hopefully next season is good though with the PvP changes and new dungeon.

1 ReplyThe only fun thing about this event is wondering how Bungie will react to how we got it done. Yes, it's done. But we cheesed and glitched the whole thing to get it done so fast. The only community event Bungie didn't rig, and we cheated to get it done.

Its like they have the new hires working on events as practice for this game. I havent played any of the event cause it sounds boring. Its not even an event if its passive

I agree, my impression is this is a quick put together event intended to keep players engaged at the end of the season. I want to say that this is a modest to low lift that maybe historically allowed their player base to maybe bump up from the traditional dip that persists at the end of the season. Not sure.
