Forerunner is busted.
Deals flinch like a kicking horse, while doesn't receive any. And you stand a mile away with a "sidearm-scout"...
Doesn't mind the range and dmg it has. But all the nerfherders using Lorentz and Arbelast before, now creeped their gross snail bottom onto the next busted thing, because it deals abnormal much flinch, and takes seriously little flinch it self 💩

It's a special weapon that doesn't instant-kill. It's going to be difficult to convince anyone that it needs a nerf, especially when it's TTK is so similar to that of Primary weapons (0.6s vs 0.67s for High-Impact Pulses)

13 RepliesEdited by r3d_belmont456: 11/23/2022 1:05:23 AMthe bloody thing only starts with 8 rounds, you only get 4 rounds per special ammo pickup and it requires 3 headshots to kill, yes it IS faster than a handcannon, but it doesn't have infinite ammo... if it is nerfed anymore in PvP then people are just gonna all start rocking other OP Sidearms like Punching out, Brigand's Law or Drang (tho Drang is gonna get nerfed soon apparently...)

The hotbox seems a bit on the big side. The only thing keeping it in check is that it takes special ammo. Rate of fire should be nerfed a bit too.

Fun fact: Forerunner was secretly buffed to do 72 damage to the head (previously 69). This happened the same time Last Word had its secret damage buff.

Edited by A_mo: 11/23/2022 2:42:06 PMThe one thing I like about it is that when it comes to primaries that people might otherwise be complaining about you can always tell people that they can use forerunner if they have a problem with them. As long as you can say "then use forerunner" your primary is safe. Even though you can't challenge it in most scenarios and it kills really quick it still requires multiple shots so you have options in terms of dealing with it that you don't have with things like arbalest and lorentz.

Just revert the ammo buff the entire reason it got an ammo buff was because it was overshadowed back then by linears, snipers, and fusions now it doesn't really need it.
