A long time ago in a solar system not far away… We called it, Big Ball. And it’s arrival sparked a golden age. Human lifespan tripled, great cities were build on mars and Venus. Mercury became a garden world. But big ball had an enemy. The Darkness. Years after our golden age began the darkness found us. It nearly destroyed humanity, but big ball pushed it back and went dormant. With its last breath it released ghost, tiny drone meant to resurrect dead people and give them superpowers (we are the walking dead). Anywho, a ghost resurrects is in Russia and tells us space pirates want to kill us so we find a rocket ship and fly to the last city on earth. We are told to kill black heart so big ball can get its electricity back so we go to do that. We meet exo stranger on the way and she gives us vague instructions on how to find black heart. We ask questions but she has no time to explain and -blam!- off to Hoth for the next 8 years. We kill black heart and that is the end of the base game. Then in the 1st expansion called The moons haunted part 1 of 3, we kill a death cultist in their sleep. Next expansion called Old yeller, the space pirate, the blue people tell us to kill a bunch of space pirates who calk themselves wolves, so we kill a bunch of space pirates who call themselves wolves. Next expansion called Sorry about your son, Oryx wants to kill us after finding his sons corpse in the basement who we killed in Moons haunted part 1 of 3. Anyway after he commits genocide we break in to his home and kill his daughters and make him watch before we kill him. Next expansion called Boomer vs computer, we kill robot space pirates for a knight of the round table. Then in destiny 2 space rhinos invade last city in a campaign called Wether we’ve wanted it or not we’ve stepped into a war with the cabal in the city. They take away our space drugs and send us to rehab. Then Gary the leader of the rhinos ask big ball for space drugs after genocideing big balls followers. It’s a bold strategy I hope that work out for him. Anyway we wake up in the woods since the rehabilitation center thought we were a lost cause and we find a camp of other space zombies and find more space drugs from big balls secret hiding place. Anyway we kill Gary by giving him an overdose of pre mentioned space drugs and big ball wakes up cranky and eats his soul. Next expansion ain’t important so that brings us to boomer vs computer part 2. Basically we kill a god who is a worm and turn it into a gun. Then in Oh no not the funny robot man, Cayde 6 (the best character in the game) gets killed by emo boy so we killl emo boy and desecrate his corpse. Then in The moons haunted part 2 of 3, we actually find ghost on the moon so we go inside a darkness ship to and they give cryptic message about their new space drugs. Then in beyond pvp meta, we find darkness’ stash of drugs and finally fine the exo stranger. Then in Give us back our space drugs, savathun aka the wicked witch of the west, steals our drugs so we bring a bucket of water to her house and pour it on her. She melts and we learn that a the witness (aka smoke monster) is on its way to kill everyone. And that’s the story so far.

There's a storyline?

Long ago, space ball was chased by space Doritos. Found earth and decided that’s where it wanted to live. Robots worship the Doritos, Hive are spooky and the fallen are annoying. Daddy’s mad about his kids death, fallen find robots. Gary steals the light and fails, vex make a maze, more robot stuff, Cayde’s dead and we avenge. Drifter ups the stakes, emperor likes us, Ada doesn’t wanna give us weapons. Uh oh! Hive become more scary and more vex problems. Saint 14 comes back to life, Russian computer saves the world. Space Doritos come and the ball heals. Ooo, we have frosty powers. Cayde’s killer is back and fighting more spooky hive. Cabal kinda wanna make peace in a weird sort of way, fallen take refuge in the city from the vex. Osiris is sus, savathun comes. Spooky hive have the light, but we stopped them. Tension between human/cabal alliance. Everyone fights their inner demons, and now we’re pirates.
