3 RepliesAbilities already got yet another nerf across the board. You want a typical shooter? Go play CoD, Halo, Battlefield, CSGO, etc... this is a SPACE MAGIC GAME FIRST! That's what makes this game different. Go play something else.

This is why I'd rather play cod. It's hard to fully balance a pvp system revolving around space magic. Abilities have already taken several hits in pvp. The space magic is what makes this game unique. If you want better balance, d2 pvp ain't it.

The space magic is unique to Destiny. The ability spam definitely is real but I look at it as this seasons meta. I’d rather have strong abilities and space magic then not. The power fantasy in this game is based around abilities and super use. Build crafting has now started to matter so overall this aspect of the game has shown improvement over time. Every character you run should have 100 resilience and 100 discipline. Many players will have triple 100 stat builds and they are hella good. Watch a video. I’d recommend checking out plunderthabooty as he has good builds for every class.

1 ReplyI'm fine with mayhem existing but they shouldn't of done it in iron banner where a lot of people who don't normally play pvp jump in it's just not a good experience when you run down a hallway and you get 3 grenades tossed your way doesn't leave you feeling like you could've done something to prevent your death

I was trying to be fair in the beginning but now the frustration is building. I've come to the conclusion that whoever is in charge of PvP either is inept and has no clue what they're doing or they've painted themselves into a corner and don't know how to fix what they've done. If either is true thats really bad and that person has to get moved somewhere else and be replaced with someone new.
