Only way D2 will survive is if a similar situation occurred with Bungie as did Twitter. Bungie is just railroading this entire franchise straight into oblivion. Have totally rhe wrong people driving the bus as they have no understanding what we want, what we will play and what will keep is playing. All gimmicks like a used car salesman.
User counts have been downhill since sunsetting. Trended data shows, outside of new season anomalies, less and less are returning to play. The veterens are quitting more and more and only new lights are making it less dramatic. So many are now streaming codmw2 or god of war rag....games has no pull, nothing magnetic to keep you invested as the latest give away title confirms and really no longer much point to login daily except to piddle around wondering where it all went wrong....if only I hadnt bought that stupid expansion..i would be finally free of the pyramid scheme/scam that has become D2.

7 RepliesThis might be the worst thing I've ever read in these forums. Musk is one of the stupidest and worst people to ever draw breath.
-
Yes exactly, so that person can also fire all the employees and have less people working on the game
-
Every decision Elon Musk has made in regards to Twitter have been to make the service more profitable, ie more money from consumers ie the $8 per month check mark. Is that how Bungie (and Musk in this hypothetical timeline) fixes Destiny? By taking more of the consumers money?
-
4 RepliesYeah, he made Twitter into a powerhouse for sure. Bleeding users. Bleeding employees. Bleeding advertisers. Twitter will be a shell of its former self, and will die in short order. Some hero you got there.
-
2 RepliesNot sure where you've been but Elon's basically been systematically dismantling Twitter and has managed to almost kill it in a month
-
2 RepliesBy the Gardener, Winnower, Traveler, and Witness, GODS NO! I don't know if you're just trolling, or if you're actually a Musk Cultist, but Musk drove Twitter into the ground within weeks. People left in droves. If Bungie was bought out like that, the game would be truly dead in short order. Was sunsetting a problem? Yes, but they've affirmed they're no longer going to sunset major content. Are people streaming other games? Yes, and people in real life aren't and shouldn't be constrained to one game or hobby. Streamers streaming other games doesn't mean much. What do you even want, anyway?

1 ReplyLol Twitter will be out of business before December.
-
2 RepliesIts hard to believe that anyone could possibly think this.
-
I'd prefer not to pay $8 a month for a verified Destiny account, but to each their own.
-
3 RepliesOnly 240 people work at twitter now. Its railroading into its own oblivion.
-
Lol I’m sure the game will survive just fine.
-
4 RepliesLol wanna raid? 8$ entry fee! But you can have a blue check mark next to your name! I’ve never been more happy to have never used Twitter than I am now, seems like it’s getting saucy and I love the DRAMA!!!!
-
So that Destiny 2 can be driven into the ground before Season 19 starts?
-
I don’t think he’s a cool person. I do respect his pockets though.
-
I’m surprised people can still like Elon at this point.
-
Are you not right in the head, did mum n dad drop you one too many times.....cause your idea is simply bad
-
Fact checkers just came back You sir are 100% correct
-
Bungie is just railroading this entire franchise straight into oblivion. just like Elon Musk did at Twitter.
-
Lol Trials cards costing silver yay!
-
Be careful, you never know if Elon is on bungies good side or not, might end up getting a warning!
