Scallywag Title
Just give it everyone at this point. Reducing all the stuff down to make it easier is just hot garbage at this point.

None of the titles are even cool enough to be worth grinding for, they need to make every [b][i]Triumph[/i][/b] have a title as a reward, [b][i]scholar[/i][/b] for warlocks, [b][i]rogue[/i][/b] for hunters, [b][i]crayon eater[/i][/b] for titans. And just simple little ones like [b][i]fallen slayer[/i][/b] for killing 1000 fallen, or [b][i]hive bane[/i][/b] for killing 1000 hive, that way it will be rare to see people rocking the same titles and make each one cooler

You have way too much time on your hands. At the end of the day, no one gives a FLYING F what title you have. Same way you don't give a F about what other people have. You look at it for 2 weeks and then change it to something else. Find enjoyment in playing games.

Having done the Title normally i must say why just make it so much easier ? i didnt find it too difficult Now the Gambit Dredgen i need the gbank 75 motes triumph how the -blam!- do i do that ? While you are at it please make all triumphs like the Kings fall and flawless earnable from crucible so its easier

I agree with others who said the extreme nerf in requirements is an insult to those of us who already earned the title. I also agree that the requirements should have been reduced earlier in the season before anyone earned the title the hard way. I'm fairly certain "Scallywag" translates to "sucker" in Bungie speak.

5 RepliesWell having reduced was for the lazy who didn't want to put in the work or the people who spend all there time running around pvp maps . Maybe they are one and the same. For the people that did put in the work, well... that's just a big f u for grinding all season

I understand that some go for them asap and others get them when they get them (Like me). They serve no real purpose in game, other than cosmetic. They don't give any boost to anything (other than Ego's). Destiny 2 is the 1st game I've played that I spent more than a few hours in. All other games with "Titles", give some type of boost to certain things. Like in 9Dragons, the game I have over well over 130k hours in and up until a year ago, I have every (Epithet -a.k.a Title) and each one gives boost to certain Stats/Abilities/gear and weps. There was reasons to go after them and grind/farm/PvP for certain ones. To me they have no reason being in game due to them not needed to do anything. Dont bash me, I accomplished all parts of Skullywag but 1 more part. IDC if I finish it, it's not going benefiting or hurt me if I do or or don't. Now add some type of boost to them for doing them and hell yeah I'm all over all that I can go after.

Honestly, the problem is less that they lowered the requirements and more about how much they lowered them. If you need to make it almost free on the last few weeks then maybe, just MAYBE, you bungled that season's design.

It's like Bungie cares about the numbers more than the players. I imagine the conversation went something like this: Manager: OK, it's almost the end of the season! We wanted 20% of the population to get the Scallywag title; how are we doing? Underling: Uh, only 3 % are currently on track to earn the title before season's end. Manager: That's terrible! This will look really bad on the PowerPoint graph I have to present to Sony. What's keeping people from earning the seal? Underling: Most players haven't completed the ruffian or master ketchcrash requirements. Manager: Well, we'll drop the ruffian requirement then! How about half? Underling: Still won't make it, sir. Manager: Well drop it down low enough so that we'll make our 20%! Underling: Sir, that'd make it....uh...10 ruffians. Won't that dilute the meaning of the seal, and maybe piss off the people who ground their asses off? Manager: Numbers are numbers; if I don't make 20%, I don't get my bonus. Underling: OK, so should we also do something to encourage people to LFG so they can complete the master ketchcrash and complete all 9 steps? Manager: -blam!- no, we're out of time and budget; there's no ROI in that. Just drop the seal to 8/9 requirements. There, now my graph looks gooooooood.

2 RepliesPart of mine still won't make any progress. One of them is summoning scur-v and the other helpers. I was 0-15 and now I am 0-1 but I have summoned them all as much as I can every run. The other part that wasn't doing anything apparently either got fixed taken out or auto completed cause it is no longer showing but the one. The rest I put the time in and finished them.

I honestly didn't have a problem with the Ruffian grind (had really good luck with randos that waited) OTOH the repute challenges were pretty bad, but yeah lowering the numbers this late is pretty bad. I know it'd be a token gesture but they should gild the title for anyone that got it before the patch, double gild if you got it before the Ruffian despawn fix.

It's fine for me, I still need like 20 Champion kills for the 250 Champion kills in Expeditions, so I'm still going to go into Expeditions and purposely prolong the activity for my entire matchmade fireteam by throwing Engrams away from my teammates. Bungie, you can't ban me for griefing, it's LITERALLY the only way to get the Triumph done. Thanks for that :)

It shows how little people played this season. When I saw how far they dropped the requirements I thought oh wow no one went for this at all I guess.
