5 RepliesI've given up on Destiny PvP completely. SBMM or CBMM, it's still peer to peer and the lack of Regional Dedicated Host Servers makes it joke with a collapsing population and throwing anyone into the game from any where on earth, regardless of connection quality. With the November 8th update for Halo Infinite (which I abandoned because of the Server Situation), I'm actually having fun now. They added an option to find only local Data Centers and my in game ping time (which you can monitor) is usually 35 ms ping time for BTB (12 VS 12) and down to 20 ms (50 fps) for 4V4. The game runs at 60 fps on my Xbox One X and buttery smooth. There are still "warts" to deal with, but they have fixed one of the main infrastructure issues I have had that makes the game fun.

3 RepliesIn D1, I played only Destiny. It was that good I have to put all the other games in the backlog. When Activision left, game went down the drain. Just a broken and empty game. Now, I play CoD too. And everything else! All the other games I could lay my hands on. Including D1 sometimes. …except this broken and empty game called D2.🤣 Never touched it at all. And it feels SO GOOD!!!

I just watched my whole team spawn 3 times in front of a golden gun and he just kept shooting us and we would just respawn in front of him. Everyone keeps talking about SBMM, the -blam!- team balancing sucks, the maps suck, the spawning sucks, the connections suck and y’all are worried about even lobbies? What good is an even lobby if all the good players get put on one team, lag the whole match and you get spawn trapped cuz bungles algorithm thinks you should spawn next to enemy players. And for the record, I’ve purchased one CoD in my life, spanning everything from Atari to ps5

Don't see me coming back to D2 anytime soon, if at all. Just sucks, because I love Destiny, but it's just not enjoyable anymore. Who would have thought I would enjoy BF2042 more than Destiny.. Not me, but here we are.

Ive actually fired up State of Decay 2 for the first time since buying it years ago.... Actually a fun zombie survival game, wont keep me entertained forever buts its a decent time filler.
