It’s ok to take a break!

I’ve been playing destiny since D1 alpha, I have taken months long breaks many times throughout the life cycle of the game. It’s ok if destiny doesn’t suit you from time to time. It’s actually quite refreshing to take breaks. I have and will continue to do so (for instance, this season I only played one character). Many of my long time destiny buddies took a break during this season and they are excited to jump back in when the new season drops (some are waiting for light fall) It helps prevent burnout, or having the game feel like a chore. I’ve been there, and it isn’t fun. But honestly, most games now have that “chore” aspect. I’ve been playing COD and it’s a chore trying to level up guns anyway. And the game has maybe 1/8th the content that Destiny has. You don’t need to acquire every craftable gun immediately, you don’t need to be the first to the light level cap. TLDR: taking week/month long breaks keeps the game fresh. and once you learn the mentality of “u don’t need everything immediately and u don’t need to be the first” the game feels a lot less like a chore and more of a game to play to have fun.
