Hi guardians I have something to remind you..pls stop talking s…. to other ppl toxicity isn’t the way..
Couple days ago when I was trying to play some trials with destiny’s app lfg one of my team starts to talk s.. to me because i try to go flank instead to stay and help them in the fight.. my bad ok..is this reason to start talk s…and calling “names”?
I have a great time in destiny and love to help ppl when I can..
I know the majority of destiny players aren’t like him so playing the game and have fun without toxicity..

Sorry to hear about your experience. Although don’t take everything to heart. Mute the chat or leave and find someone else to play with. LFG can be like this at times… I suggest you find a suitable clan that enjoys the game modes you like to play. Who knows… you may make some friends along the way and assemble your own team and enjoy playing the game with the people you have got to know. Good luck and happy gaming!

Agreed.

5 RepliesI just make a bunch of annoying farting noises in my mic when coming across people like that…Yeah, I can talk s&@t too 😏

1 ReplyYou're too soft if you let something like this bother you to the point where you had to post about it days after. Now I could be a prıck and tell you off but instead, Ill give some words of advice: Grow a backbone, Dont let others get you down, and ignore it. At the end of the day, It was just a game of trials. Nothing life threatening. If your stressed, Go outside and take a breather. Your only letting them get their way by posting this.

5 RepliesMany young people these days haven’t learned RESPECT, and acting CIVILIZED. They say what they want, when they want, screw everybody if you’re not happy. Sad reflection of our society.

Hey Guardian. I'm sorry to read this. Unfortunately you're not the only one who experienced something like that. Similar scenarios happen in PvP as in PvE for other Activities such as Raids. Toxicity is not a problem that reguards only D2 and its comunity; it happens in every on-line game, expecially those where there's a competitive scene. There's no much you can do to prevent people from being toxic. It's something out of your control. You can only respond to it with the tools as your disposal from reports, to mute chat or, in the worst case scenario, to simply leave and look for other people to play with. Reply to toxicity with other toxicity is useless. Actuallly I'd say it's counter productive. Be patience and don't let people who act in this way to ruin your experience.

1 ReplyIf it was working and you was successful he has no reason to say anything, on the other hand if it was deemed as throwing the round more then once/twice he has reason to say something although no need to be toxic or mean about it.

54 RepliesEdited by Lore Oradon: 11/9/2022 3:11:41 AMSo, he's not allowed to be mad that you costed them the Round or Match? That's not "Toxicity", it's Aggravation. Word of advice, the word "Toxic" and "Toxicity" has lost all meaning. Toxic here, toxic there. He has every right to express it, don't like it, Mute/Block/Leave. If people aren't allowed to express their Emotions, like Aggravation, then this world is going down the drain. Edit - I'm not even going to look in the replies. Still going on are you? Here's some wisdom, learn to walk away.
-
Getting checked for throwing a match isn't "toxicity", it's EXPECTED. Unless, of course, you don't want to learn from your mistakes and would rather blame the "community ." Grow up little light
-
If someone goes solo and dies and it costs the game you can call em dumb, but anything else is toxic. Shouting like a man baby is just childish.
-
5 RepliesThat's life. People will be people. Ignore the toxicity and focus on why they yelled at you.
-
If you were in an LFG that wanted to win, yeah you are going to get -blam!- talk for dumb play, thats what competitive matches with random people do. Find a group that just wants to chill or create one saying that it’s a chill run. That way people expect you are there to have fun and not to win.
-
Toughen up.
-
If you made a dumb play, it's okay to point that out. Totally normal. Namecalling or getting super heated over it is childish though.

Unhappy people unhappy life

This is exactly why i don’t bother communicating most of the time. Communicating helps immensely but I can say with certainty that with enough experience you can reach the lighthouse with proficient aim alone.
-
There's something that I learned long ago. If you have a teammate who immediately losses their temper, just mute them and go about your day. I understand if you just kept doing the same thing over and over but if someone losses their -blam!- on the first screw up, then it's just better to mute them because it's clear they have no intention on actually controlling themselves. This is also the nature of LFG. You never know what kind of people you're gonna get grouped with.
-
Mute them, you have the power.

generally I think it’s trials that brings the worst out of people. I did an lfg team and I missed one snipe in first round of our first game and my teammate said I’m trash and booted me. I’m like whatever…. And moved on with life. The worst of the competitive pvp players are far more toxic than the worst of the pve players. That’s why I tend to lean into pve a bit more.
-
2 RepliesAll of the game-related interactions I’ve hated the most I’ve had in Destiny. This community has been generally trash since day one.
-
If only there was a way to mute and block people 🤔

1 ReplyDump it here. We’ll either recycle it or burn it.

Yeah, a guy wasn't cool in a world, crazy.

Don’t worry about those people. Usually they can only talk trash online, but in person they don’t say jack. I remember a few times I’ve had people talk cash $h1t to me in raids, GMs, and in PvP. And all I do is laugh and say okay😂. Because it’s a game, I mean I’m not gonna start crying because I’m told something offensive. I’m just going to be humored to the fullest extent.
