Declining population issue.

Bungie if you want people to come back here are some needed adjustments. 1) Scrap aerial effectiveness because it just makes players too frustrated when their bullets are RNG it's especially frustrating in PvP but also doesn't feel good in PvE . 2) Light level grind needs to be reset for expansions and not every three or four months for seasons because it discourages players from attempting to reach endgame content. 3) Champions need a rework so people can use the weapon archetypes that they prefer and enjoy instead of being forced to use a weapon they aren't comfortable with. It's just a game and your players want common sense gameplay. Make destiny enjoyable again.

I really doubt people "quit the game" because of aerial effectiveness changes.
2) Light level grind needs to be reset for expansions and not every three or four months for seasons because it discourages players from attempting to reach endgame content.
I don't think that's the case either. There are probably multiple reasons why people don't attempt to play the endgame. To list a few: * Gear staying relevant (why grind for new gear when your old one is just as effective?)(please don't change this Bungie, btw!) * Not enough time due to IRL stuff (self-explaining) * They already have done it (self-explaining) * They simply don't care (why go for guns or armor you don't like roll-wise or look-wise?) * They want to play other games too (hence why it was changed in the first place to be so low increases) But in regards of power level changes, I personally think it is time for a massive numbers crunch. New Lights shouldn't start at 1350 power or whatever it is nowadays. They should start with 0 Power level and our own Power level (for example, from this season 1600) should be 1350 less than it is now, so 250 power. The higher the numbers go (as it is rn) the less impactful they feel. That also means that PvE Power Level should matter more itself (wider brackets for benefits). I and many veterans really cared to get to Light Level 30 in D1 Vanilla. But I don't care about getting to Pinnacle Power of 1600 this season. But again, this isn't really making people quit this game. Imo the best solution would be to simply go back to Shadowkeeps Anti-Champion Weapon Mods system, but with following changes: * Anti-Champion Weapon Mods are universal (you can put it on every gun you like) * Weapons get a second mod slot EXCLUSIVELY for Anti Champion Weapon Mods and they can only be slotted there * Anti-Champion Weapon Mods are not tied to the Artifact
