There are typically only 2 causes for what you are experiencing. First, the Epic account was recently part of another cross save, which would mean it would be temporarily excluded from cross save. The second most common reason is that a different but similar account was linked so you would be signing into the wrong Epic account, this one can be verified or ruled out by signing out of Bungie.net completely and then signing into Bungie.net using the same Epic credentials you are using when you try to play the game.
