1. Daybreak on longest cool down for what? It's terrible in PVE and PVP.
2. Phoenix dive needs a way shorter cool down than that of a rift. There's a reason no one uses it Bungie and its not because rift suddenly became amazing, its because the benefits of phoenix dive don't justify the cool down.
3. Heat rises needs a re-work or something. Aside from an initial surprise to enemies there's no reason to seriously use it. Trading your grenade to become an easier and slower moving target who still doesn't even have perfect in air accuracy or additional resilience really isn't worth it. (Especially in PVP).
4. Chaos reach and storm trance PVE damage still a joke and remains un-addressed.
5. Void warlock needs to be able to absorb grenades to activate devour on command. (just like titans and Hunters can with invis and over shields without having to use an exotic) (make this a secondary perk on the devour activation with void ability kills fragment)
6. Void fragment for super grenades needs to just apply the super grenade like titans one does without the grenade animation.

2 RepliesStill at it. …and still unwilling to accept that this is how the devs want the game to play. This is how Destiny 1 played…and we are WAAAY more powerful—-right now—-than we ever were in D1.

Bump 😂

1. Daybreak's cooldown will probably be changed with the update. Bungie already said they were looking at this. 2. You don't have Phoenix Dive usage rates, so why are you claiming that no one uses it? Also, Rifts are good. Prove me wrong. Lol, see? Opinions can't be proven. 3. Heat Rises let's you use Icarus Dash twice in a short period of time. It also applies Restoration and Cure. It also grants you +70 AE. I play with guys who main this Aspect and use it to dominate areas of the map (grenade launcher + Cerberus build) 4. It's PVE and I don't know jack about it. 5. Will activating Devour completely regenerate your health and allow kills to keep regening your health? Because that sounds busted to me 6. I don't see a problem with this, except you'll need to keep the charge for the Magnetic grenades/handheld. I assume that the charging animation is there because the enhanced grenades on Voidwalker are better than the other enhanced grenades (with the exception of Storm Grenades, which are getting a nerf - give me an example if you disagree).

No, class identity means hunters are now the dps class, titans are now immortal, and warlocks will forever be well slaves

Edited by Infamous067: 11/8/2022 12:06:29 AMBro just give up, I’ve been playing overwatch and cod and both honestly are way more fun right now. Destiny is dying for me, just tired of the same old BS and bungie having no clue on how to buff warlocks. Warlocks aren’t even asking to be OP, all the class needs are specific buffs to certain aspects and abilities. The buffs aren’t anything crazy either. For example how hard is it to buff the cooldown of phoenix dive? Thats all it literally needs. Chaos accelerant for void only needs an extra aspect slot and a small bump to charging grenade animations. Little things that are more quality of life changes than actual buffs. But hey all warlocks are called whine locks for wanting their class to be viable.

Look at the track record of nerfs they don't want us to succeed.

That's its only good use. 2. Phoenix dive sucks. I used it one time to see what it was all about and I never consider using it. Underpowered, takes too long to cool down, and doesn't do anything particularly cool even if it was a faster cooldown. 3. Heat rises is like dawnblade, I basically only use it to skip jump puzzles (works great on d*ck wall). However, there are some niche PvE uses, like low-guardian raids (Oryx in particular) where it's actually really fun to use. I hate the air accuracy, though, and I almost exclusively use wave frame grenade launchers when I actually use heat rises in PvE, cuz that's the only way I can ensure hits when things get chaotic and I don't have time to scope in super carefully. 4. Yep. 5. Yep. 6. Honestly, I'm okay with the grenade aspect on warlocks. The real issue with aspects on warlocks is we're the only class that can't have 5 fragments.

1 ReplyAm I the only one who think you just should not fall during heat rises?

I agree with all except 5 and 6. With any ability kill triggering devour I don't think I would ever consume my grenade for it. Not against it, just don't think it's that big of a deal. Charging grenades to make them more powerful is a cool thing that is part of voidlocks identity. The problem is that charging them up doesn't really make them that much more powerful. I haven't used that aspect since void 3.0 launched.

i think 1st thing that needs to happen is some nerfs to void hunter/titan and arc titan then we can see where warlocks are at because both titan and hunter are way too strong rn

2 RepliesSo sick of Warlocks crying Just put your well where we tell you and stfu!!!!

5 RepliesEdited by Artisan: 11/7/2022 2:10:07 PM• We need a better way to Shatter in Stasis than shooting particular weapons - it's Warlock that's meant to be the Class that uses the forces of the universe afterall. • We need parity of Radiance - our condition is : on landing a successful charged-melee hit. Ok. Hunter's condition is : (after jumping) ...on landing again ! Whooah how's that comparable? This MASSIVELY changes long-range weapon TTKs/ease of use such as Scouts and 180 HCs. • We need a freaking OHK Melee back. Alternatively, remove all of them but do one or the other. Being the ONLY Class without is blatant bias. • Daybreak PvE damage increase. • At least one Rift alternative. And/or a faster animation version. • Invis needs to be out of PvP, it's a win-button, but as Devour was "democratized" in PvP, Invis also needs to be equally "democratized" in PvP. • New, groundbreaking PvP Exotics at the comparable strength of Omnioculus, Loreley, Gryfalcon. Where are they? • We need these doing as a major priority - the F*** now - not in 5 months.

9 RepliesWarlocks need an update change to certain exotics and move-sets. Like an air or ground dash when dodging out of danger for the void walker, storm caller, and shade binder. Hunters can dodge out of trouble on all their super subclasses. Warlocks should be able to do the same. Give us an air or ground dash for all our subclasses. Not just for top tree dawn blade. Plus the warlock's basic rift speed needs an increase. Whenever I cast my rift, I die to a shotgun, etc.

You forgot the all important NB tracking! It actually tracks anything except what you target including walls, rocks, the vastness of outer space, ect... I love how it starts off going to your target but then veers off just to hit some other, often inanimate, object. Plus what is it about Gambit that makes all warlock supers suck way worse then in any other game mode and vastly worse then other classes. Plus it seems warlocks die in their supers far easier then the others. Saying this not just when I run warlock but going against them too.
-
2 RepliesYou should know by now that Bungie absolutely hates Warlocks.

2 RepliesPlot Twist: They want Warlocks to suck.

It really says a lot about phoenix dive that it's unusable compared to rifts while rifts are the worst class ability by a huge margin. Rifts need some kind of major overhaul to make them relative to dodge and barricade. Dodge can give instant invis, weapon reload, radiance, and a bunch of roaming exotic effects on instant cast with a third of the cooldown of rift. Barricade has a similar cooldown while rifts are casted and recharge slower, blocks attacks while rifts have no defensive properties, damages enemies that touch it while rifts have no effect on opponents, and the void overshield also roams whereas rift's effects and overshield disappear immediately after exiting the fairly small radius of the rift. Rift needs some way to roam, whether it's making the rift attached to the warlock themselves rather than the ground, making the rift buffs function like arc souls with a timer that allows it to roam but that gets refreshed by entering the rift again, or at bare minimum a much faster cast animation and larger radius.

1 ReplyRegarding the post: 1. Daybreak - how do I say this politely - has opportunities for improvement. I've never seen it used in any end game activities because it cannot hold a candle to Well of Radiance. 2. No opinion. 3. No opinion. 4. Poster is correct. Chaos Reach has a cool animation but it lacks any punch (maybe consider adding jolt to anything it hits, but think super-jolt). It feels like the damage should be comparable to hunter's blade barrage. Supers should feel like something special, I should feel like a bad--blam!- and the Stormtrance does exactly the opposite. There is nothing that feels powerful about that super. 5. I respectfully disagree with the poster here. I think Devour works pretty well right now. 6. No opinion.

5) This used to be the case before I took a break from the game. Sad to see it is not anymore I wish they would bring that back too.

I just want to appreciate OP for actually saying Daybreak instead of Dawnblade. You have sated my pet peeve.

The team doesn’t want to make a warlock op. Whenever that happens it get nerfed asap
